  1. It was a Ribbit. Don't get me wrong. I also frog with braid. I am just passing on what happened.

  3. That's interesting. I have always used braid but really found no difference or problems without using it. Thanks for your input.
  4. Yesterday I was fishing one of my favorite ponds. I started out just practicing a few ideas. I was throwing a Stanley Frog up on the shore and dragging into the water and back. I was also using Yo-Zuri 15# as I didn't think of catching any fish. The area was pretty heavy with lily pads. To my surprise I had a 2lber hit and I landed it. about 10 more casts and another a little smaller. Then a 3rd 2+ lbs. My point is I was fishing somewhat heavy pads and didn't have any problems with break offs using copoly. So my question is ... How many of you don't use braid for frogging? And why?

  6. I can't imagine snapping braid. I have used 20# and 40# and never had a breaking problem, ever.

  15. I agree with KVD spray being good, I have always used it and it does make a difference. I have never used BPS spray and thanks to your tip, I never will.
