Just wondering how you owners of this reel use the gear lube port under the handle. I spoke with a Lews rep and they suggest you open the port and apply a thin line on 1/4 of the gear and close the cap. Wind the reel very fast to spread the grease and that's it. With other reels I take the reel apart and spread a thin line around the entire gear and press it in with my finger. Just wondering your thoughts and how you use this port.

That's why they make different boxes. Nothing is for everyone.

I thinl many are misunderstanding this topic. I don't mean people who buy or fish them are "silly", I mean that the prices are getting out of hand. I don't care what people use to fish or how much they spend. Just pointing out an observation. So all the upset people can relax now.

It's funny, I don't find it much different than the rest of the year. The summer slows down for me during the day. I mean it was 81 degrees today. Great fishing year round where I am.
