For me in dead of summer it's 10 in worms in deep water very slow. Keitech Swing Impact FAT 4.8 & 5.8 lightest weight you can get away with crawl in along bottom very slow.

What reels are you looking for? Most new reels can be bought online for the same price as Ebay.

For me that depends on if I am boat or bank fishing.

Haven't had serious problems with the legs but they take on water real fast. The regular ones seem better just smaller.
