I no longer use leaders but when I did I used this tool for a nail knot. It is also great for snelling a hook.

I always carry them.One of my all time favorites.I use a little piece of heat shrink tube and slide it on and heat it. This will stay in place and stop the slipping of the line.None. Too commercial for me.Preference, preference, preference.Enjoy fishing.I use a 3/0 to 4/0 depending on the worm.I use 12lb Yo-Zuri for just about everything.No copolymer?This is why I stopped pegging almost completely.
