In-Fisherman. They're often filmed on Minnesota lakes and rivers, so the advice is more applicable to me than some of the shows filmed elsewhere, focusing on resevoir techniques, for example.

Bassmasters and Zona's show are good but MLF is a great format for fishing shows

There's a local show called mad fisherman that I occasionally watch because it usually runs before or after Red Sox games. It used to be interesting, now it's mostly doing fancy stuff with Boston sports figures and Chuck Woolery.

I don't watch much TV otherwise.

Hmmmm, I record and watch all the shows on your list (and then some) so I can't pick out the one I watch the most.  The one I like the most?  If you held a gun to my head I would pick Major League Fishing. (So I picked that one for your poll......)

Without a doubt Major League Fishing. We watch Zona although he gets on my wife's nerves. The guys I think would be great based on watching their YouTube videos is the Shryrock brothers. And of course the ultimate spinoff that I would completely enjoy would be "Fishing with Larry Legend" ;)

Sadly, but happy for my wallet, we had to dump
all but basic cable this year. I used to watch a
bunch of those shows, but then watched MLF
and enjoyed it the most.

I think a lot of the shows were fun, like Hank
Parker and Shaw Grigsby, but we lost them
when NBC bought out...can't even remember
the channel now. Most went to a fishing network
that we didn't get in our package, either. So
that stunk.

I remember back in the late 70's and throughout the 80's I watched a lot of great fishing shows.

1- Orlando Wilson Outdoors (Good Georgia boy, fished the local lakes around me)

2- Fishing with Roland Martin ( Back when he did just bass fishing)

3- Bill Dance Outdoors ( Overall this show really got me pumped up to fish)

4- Hank Parker ( Learned a lot of great techniques here)

I now just catch a FLW show every now and then when scanning through the channels. Might be I have just about cut my TV watching down to less than 2 hours a week.

i checked other

Fishing and Hunting Texas with Clark Wendlant

Cabas Fishermans Handbok with Wade Middleton

FLW

for some reason i only got a sporadic Bassmasters on ESPN once in a blue moon, no Bill Dance unless its his saltwater show. i have the basic DirecTV plus local channels and the NFL Sunday ticket package. no more Timmy Horton at all this year? i have picked up a MLF episode when they decide to air one on CBS. i aint paying another dime for anymore channels either. they can kiss my big ol hairy butt

I don't get MLF but really interested in seeing that after reading all of the positive posts about it here.  One local show I like is Sportsman 360 hosted by Owen Nolan, it's a combo fishing/hunting show and I really like the content.

I love all of them but I still love the old school stuff like Bill Dance and Hank Parker. One of my favorites, not on the list, is Oneill Outdoors. I like that he does a bunch of different types of fishing, hunting, and always has the big green egg cooking segment towards the end.

I gotta say in my early days of bass fishing, when I was 16, shows like Hank Parker & Bill Dance helped me alot. I learned the basics of using a bait caster, how to texas rig any plastic and how and why to choose different types of spinner bait blades depending on water clarity. Those shows were very informative.

I don't miss the post-selects of MLF (DVR prn) and I also make sure to catch all of Zona's espisodes. I like a lot of the other shows when I have time, but those two I make a point to watch.

Zona is the man. 90% entertainment and 10% learning. Love that he goes out with pros all the time.

Mlf is is a close second but if it wasn't for dvr I would never watch it. Too many commercials with that d**n big foot!
