I just go out and fish. I don't have the time to fish only when a chart or the stars tell me when. I go out when I have the chance. I do adjust to time of year though. I just hit the probable spots then fish the out of the box areas... Thats my science.

I think in one of our river systems up here we actually have meanmouths, Largemouth Smallmouth Hybrids. We noticed it when we saw what looked to by a giant smallmouth swimming with a bunch largemouth in a wolfpack.

Anybody from around there? Is it frozen? I'm asking because I'll be in Plattsburgh for a few days and was thinking I can bring a rod and maybe catch some smallmouth. Are there any good spots to bank fish from?

Mine are italicized and I haven't had an issue. The only time Police from NJ and NY have come up to me was to check my fishing license, and never mentioned anything about the lettering.

Restocked my stock, and bought 2 piece (actually 3 piece) Kastking Perigee MH/ M Fast casting and spinning rods paired with a Kastking Stealth bc and Sharky II spinning reel for air travel and throw in the trunk storage. Also purchased a Plano Airliner telescoping travel tube (not in the pic). I'll give an update how these Kastking products hold up when I get back from Florida this summer.

I have that one on my Stratos, comfy. I lean against the concave section as well. On mine the red is darker then on my factory seats.

I have the same bag. I think those rod holders are made for multi piece rods. I had the same problem putting my one piece rod into it and its way to tall to be walking thru the bush with it.

Caught my PB on a black Kermi. That's the only color I use now, that or bk/bl. I think for me is that the bass sees the silhouette and I think black or bk/bl will do that the best. Then again anything solid can block the light and create a silhouette. It just keeps it simple for me color wise. I do have some other colors but Black or Bk/Bl is my go to. The only sort of downside is they do take on water more frequently than let say a Booyahs, but that's no biggie just squeeze a little more often.

There are some Pros out there that have different color jigs but only use a green pumpkin trailer for all of them. I kind of use that same logic unless I'm fishing dirty water then its bk/bl jig with a bk/bl trailer.

Learned my lesson with Poison Ivy, now when I'm walking the bank in wooded areas I only wear long pants. Denim in the colder months and World Wide Sportsman II convertible fishing pants from BPS during the warmer months.

Spring thru Fall, every weekend and sometimes after work. Winter not so much unless you call diddeling with my aquariums fishing. My MTS really kicks in during the winter months...

I use 7:1s only if I'm punching mats, pitching cover or grass, and throwing a frog. Cranks, spinners I use lower gear ratios, and never had an issue.

I always think about getting it, and I do order from them several times a year but not where Prime would be worth it, and most sellers have free shipping anyway. I do own the Amazon Store Card though which I use for large orders and can pay it off with no interest.
