  1. Needed another reel for a lonely rod...
  2. Hit the hull with Works green bottle, and spray wax with Maguires Wash and Wax.
  3. Stepped on one of my rods last week when I was on the boat, and broke a couple of guides... Good reason to get a new rod... So I bought 2... They were 50 percent off at DSG. Lews Carbon Fire 7' MH F Casting, and a 6'8" ML F spinning. The spinning will be great for some drop shotting, the tip has some great action.
  4. Nice ride, and great choice, but then again I'm partial. Recently purchased a new to me tow rig myself an 2015 F150 SCAB 4x4 ECOBOOST. Yeah, Yeah a v6 in a Truck, and 2.7 v6 at that. (trust me I was in the same boat until I test drove it) that mother got some power with those twin turbos though. Funny, that's what Husky lovers say about Weathertech... Heard Fiat is getting rid of Chrysler.
  5. Great vid, Is that a ZOOM trick worm?
  6. Figured Friday was a nice day... so I let my boy play hooky from school, and we took the boat out, then he decided to school me...
  7. Colombia SPF 30 or 40 Long sleeve Bahama II shirt, World Sportsman convertable fishing pants, Hoorag, Gilly Hat, and half finger Glacier Gloves, incredible how cool you stay when fishing in the sun.
  8. Same here, when I was looking for used boat I wanted it to have stuff I wanted on it, and eventually I found it. But the Heritage was great for the price, and folks with that nostalgic feeling, and first time boat owners ate it up. It's a great beginners boat that's beginner decked out. I might of jumped on it if it came out when I was looking for my boat.
  9. I'm going down to the Bahamas then Miami in a couple of weeks. I will have a checked in suitcase so I'll just chuck the sharp stuff in there. I've had no problems carrying on reels with line on them though.
  10. Finally saw one of these new fangled bass catching dodads at the lake this past weekend. Really nice looking rig. Oh and it was finally the first time I took my boat out this season (Not a Heritage)... And the weather was really $H!#Y... My Luck.
  11. Not that they are knockoffs but similar the Rage Tail Rage Swimmers
  12. Danny Bauer Structure Jig, or an arky with a Rage Chunk or Menace
  13. I'm seeing the opposite, late spawners. Males on beds, males and fat girls courting. All the fish I've caught except for one were in known spawning areas, and personally seen them as I scare them off?
  14. I've noticed this yesterday, when I caught the male that was courting the fat lady... Always has to be the male, the fat girl wont even fake a wiff.
  15. I was on the short and stocky bite this past weekend.
  16. Somebody is trying to keep low miles....
  17. Hot on the dink bite... Few days later the Dink Fest continues, and his first Snot Rocket...
  18. Anything 2lbs and up is giant up here.
  19. My first trip and first fish of the year, and first fish caught on my homemade jig (if you call designing your own skirts and puting them on prepainted bought jigs homemade). Caught these guys off beds. Just pitching to bed looking spots a few feet back from the shoreline... Kind of fishing blind, but reading the shoreline. Not bad for a 1 and a half hours of fishing.
  20. New motors or even older motors don't need it if your going thru tanks of fuel year round, but up north you want it when you store the boat for the winter.
  21. I have a trim switch on the bow as well, but I never use it. I trim up at the helm when I get to the spot. Could be good to use if there is alot of current. Kind of use it as a brake to Slo yur Flo.
