  1. The last place I'm sending my hard earned money is to a billionaire. In fact, he should be paying us, the fans, for having to deal with this embarrassment. He wanted a Championship and he got one. There's a price to pay for everything.
  2. Stupe something
  3. Shirley everyone in New England is feeling a little deflated this morning....
  4. Thats one wacked out video^^
  5. ^^^That's a great boat man. I remember a tourney I fished a bunch of years ago, probably 80-90 boats. This one team was in a 14ft aluminum with a 9.9 on it; had a cooler with an aerator for a live well, dusted by every single boat upon blastoff.....and came in like 4th or somewhere in that area. I was wicked happy for them. I guess what I'm saying is it ain't the boat that catches fish.
  6. To be honest with ya, look on a Maine Gazetteer, find water, fish it, catch smallies. repeat.
  7. It's a humbling experience not doing well in a tourney. Lights a fire in me to learn more, that's for sure.
  8. Have you ever been in a drag car or drag raced?

I think he means on the tag end.
  10. My go to is a simple t-rigged 7" Culprit on a 4/0 straight shank worm hook. There is a reason this old school technique is still around.
  11. Welcome. I used to fish on the Cape quite a bit in Middle, Mystic, Hamblin. Used to be nice areas. I haven't been there in years though.
  12. Well done Sir!
  13. Get outta town! I have some killer memories from trips in a boat like that; and not all of them involve fishing....
  14. You gotta be just keeping those dead pie plates in your live well and takin pics every now and then!! How do you catch bohemoths like those!
  15. Nice! Glad to hear it.
  16. Thats a good fish man. Congrats!
  17. If you are comfortable and know how to test for power with a test light, you can do it yourself. If not, leave it to a pro. I'd start by testing for power at the switch. If there is power there, go to the next spot downstream; if no power, back up to the next spot upstream. Did you check fuses? Sounds like no power to the switch if no light comes on. If you had a light, then I would go with the pump.
  18. Never been there but all the same....this^^^
  19. Tubes and some finesse worms on a drop shot should work well.
  20. We finally have open water here in Maine. My home lake opened on the 20th. I made it out last Sunday, 26th with a buddy and fished from about 6:30 to 12:30, boating 51 together. Most on a jerkbait with a few on a trap. Not much for size but the action was good and I finally had a year where I caught one on my first cast of the year. Biggest was one I got about 4 and change I would guess. Water was 44 in the cove and 41 main lake. This was big fish for the day. This one was on a custom airbrushed, 1 of 1, bait I had a friend do for me. I was pretty excited when I got one on my first cast with it. And this is some video I shot with my son's GoPro. This was my first time using it and making a vid so please excuse the crudeness of it.... All in all a beautiful day.
  21. ^^^Yup, the actual drain is on the very bottom and I take out one of the 2 top plugs to vent while draining. When I fill, I put the lower plug back in, remove both upper plugs, fill into the higher of the 2 upper plugs until oil comes out the lower of the 2 upper plugs; then put back both upper plugs. While we are at it, don't forget to remove the prop and check for and remove fishing line that may have gotten wrapped around the prop shaft. This can tear up a seal pretty quick.
