  1. After attending icast 2014 and holding one of these , i was left pretty much speechless. thte new megabass arms challenge rods basically are modeled after a sks rifle. the wood grips come in 3 different types of wood. I got to hold all the rods by all the manufacturers and megabass far and above were the best. light as hell and perfectly balanced.
  2. I watched my friend nail a 9-10lber monday afternoon, only to have 2 of the hooks bend and the fish got off. the hooks on those things need some imrpoving
  3. my preference is on any snag , just go to the other side of it and get it out that way. its like a backing it out. actually i came across this video the other day:
  4. ive got it. so forget about trout, what is the CA dept of fish and game doing to "preserve and enhance black bass populations"? absolutly jack. so you can't stock trout , fine , why aren't you stocking threadfin shad, redear sunfish , and or other fish that bass like to eat? that wasn't part of the trout lawsuit. it would seem to me that the dept of fish and game in california isn't foloowing the law. now all i need is a good lawyer (besides mine) .
  5. that was part of the email i sent to the casitas municipal board
  6. its all *** , the lies that keep coming out about why the study hasn't been done is well documented. its all lies . From the Minutes of the March 12, 2014 meeting of CMWD. “Park Services Manager, Carol Belser provided an update on the fish plants. She spoke with John O’Brien who was working under Dr. Maxwell. John indicated the Biologic Assessment is completed and is in the hands of NOAA. “ At the recreation committee meeting of CMWD on July 7, 2014 . “PSM Belser reported that unfortunately there is no news of updates since she last spoke in May 2014 with Terri Stewart , supervising biologist with DFW, that the first step in resuming trout plants is the biological assessment that would probably not be completed until May 2015. PSM belser reported that she contacted KK Holland , district representative for Hanna-Beth Jackson, last week who sent a reminder inquiry to Stafford Lehr, Chief Fisheries Branch for the DFW last week. “ In march the biological assessment was complete, and in the hands of NOAA. Now in July and its not complete and won’t be complete until May 2015? PSM Belser isn’t implying that the NOAA assessment won’t be completed until May 2015, because she states that “the first step in resuming trout plants” It seems like the CMWD doesn't want trout plants to resume. So please clarify.

  15. roboworm drop shotting 1. 6" or 4" Hologram shad 2. aaron's pro magic 3. oxblood hologram shad is my personal favorite .
  16. i use megastrike and smelly jelly, i like smelly jelly almost a little bit more because it actually adds a visual element too it with the sparkles and it also it seems to rejuvanate old baits better. one thing i hate about megastrike is the tube, i always seem to step on it and have it fly out of the tube everywhere.

  19. I cut out the cardboard for lures, hooks, weights etc, and then i line the bottom of that tackle compartment with it so i know where things go. Sometimes i also use a empty peanut butter jar to store hooks and weights because its easy and you can use the lid as a tray. also i keep one of those easy reach grabber arm things on my boat at all times.
  20. Thats usually when it happens, is when im pitching a t-rig, and then i switch and swing for the fences cast without adjusting my reel.
