Yes it is pretty rigid , I have a partial floor in it and a swivel seat ,If you should decide not to do the kayak route check out the seaeagle 285 pro FPB they're built well and are reasonably priced ...Good Luck

I own the 805c JWR and wanted to add a crank bait rod ,I thought about another JWR either the 803 or 804 or the 785 CBR ?

I have several gl3's gl2's and glx's none any longer than 6'6" the 6'' are hvy and I use them for worms and jigs close in , you can cast more accurate, In my opinion.....

Ive been using 20lb braid for years and never with a leader I fish mostly small lakes and ponds they are always a little stained so moss green works for me ...

MassBass did you see my set up it works very well and is perfect for an inflatable ....

Hey Wayne I didn't cross thread it, the nut might not have been the correct one , Ive been doing this for awhile too buddy ....

I'll try MacP ,I just got off the phone with hummingbird they're sending out a new transducer unit , So I'll check the nut and bolt out before I assemble it ... I will say ,this is another reason I prefer hummingbird their customer service has always been very good ,at least to me..
