OK ran into a serious problem , the transducer mount is a piece of garbage they use a bolt with a hex head the nut didn't fit tried to unscrew it and it stripped out , why they didn't use a regular bolt is beyond me , Don't know what I'm going to do it won't come off ,really stupid design ????

OK I powered it up and it's much more straight forward than my lowrance elite 4x dsi was, cycled thru all the diff screens all seem to be working . I'm using this on my sea eagle 285 pro and this is perfect for it ,I also think it'll be a big hit with the kayakers , I can't get over all the things it does SI/DI Sonar GPS Dual Beam ......Any questions feel free to ask ....

The screens not giant but they are packed with features and priced right .....

Hello ,Looking for opinions on what you consider to be the best braid ,and why ?

Ive had mine for about a year now and love it too, I'm surprised Seaeagle hasn't done more to promote these there's only a couple of vids on them, I have mine set up with several addtional scotty mounts that I use for my depth finder , contour camera and anchor , had a great time in it last year and was considering adding the torqeedo eletric outboard to it .. Still thinking about it LOL ..

This is my set up on my pontoon boat . I'm replacing the lowrance with a new Helix 5 but you can see that it is portable and works very well...

Just my two cents , But Hummingbird is introducing the Helix 5 this month it's flagship model has SI DI GPS and Sonar for under 500.00 Just a thought ....

I just placed a pre-order on the Si/GPS combo .. Megastink I think this will be a nice addition for small waters/ponds especially for the SI ...

We have a local shop and i'll buy my worms and plastic baits because he's a tourney guy and knows the colors that produce here, But as with all of us a few minutes online and we can find whatever we want ,I try to order stuff from the small shops online ..

Happy Thanksgiving to all, , I'm thinking about adding the 598 to my frameless pontoon.. I fish on small lakes and ponds and typically cast towards the shore and was hoping that that the side scan would help me out in seeing whats there for structure.. Ive seen an awful lot of comments that the screen is too small to make out any kind of structure ? any advice is appreciated ...
