Hi, I agree, But pontoon boats are generally one man set ups ... Ive seen a few on C/L in both the Boston/ NH areas for about 200.00 or so ,And most can be easily transported in a small car trunk...

Hi has anyone had issues with these, I bought a refurb micro(old style ) from Aqua-Vu ,Plugged it in the charger is reading green but when I turn it on the screen just flashes for a second ??? .I would have thought that if they were going to sell a refurbished unit that someone would have tested it first....

Hi Same question I need to get a battery for my seaeagle 285 I'm using a MK 40lb TM I wanted an AGM that wasn't too heavy but have been thinking about the DieHard Platinum grp 34M although it weighs in at 53lbs , I would have been happier with something lighter ... Any suggestions ?

I love my seaeagle 285 pro , I think they're great for small lakes and ponds ,Ive added a few things to it but as most ,it's just a well built framless pontoon. i think if you get one you wont be disappointed... Good Luck

Hello to all and happy holidays. I have a quick question ,Does anyone know the length of the motor housing on this ? I have a 30lb and wanted to mount the transducer for my lowrance elite 4x and it wouldn't fit ... I want to make sure it's correct before I purchase it ..thanks carl

Same here all my ponds/lakes are at best 2 miles long/wide and have some pockets that are protected from high winds ....

I use a Scotty mount very easy to install

I mostly fish small lakes and ponds , I've only had it out once but im very happy with it ,I only use a 30#TM you must fly LOL

If you look at the back of the boat you'll see the transducer ,It's on a sully mount ,they sell them at cabelas or bass pro shops , I added a couple of the scotty mounting pads for my anchor and fishfinder and one more up forward for a gopro camera, If you order the boat from the factory you can get them to attach them for you .Mine was more of an afterthought . I attached the fishfinder with scottys universal fishfinder mount and that depends on what you have for a fishfinder they make several types of them so you should be all set ....I only use one anchor a 1 1/2 lb again a scotty set up.. you can find all of the scotty stuff on their site ..I would also recommend that you consider a trolling motor ....I do have a separate battery for my fishfinder just something I wanted .....

I love it , You do need an anchor, I have added a couple extra scotty mounts for a fishfinder anchor and my GoPro hero3 ,Its a really nice boat,

Andrew ,I think just about all the new ones measure temp and all tell you how deep the water is, thats how they work ?? So i dont' understand your comment .....

Do you have a problem reading it with the boat moving ? , I'll only be using a trolling motor , It seems like a nice unit (4x dsi) but has gotten a bit of a bad rap as to clarity and seeing fish on it ??
