Undersized LMB or bass caught on a C&R lake are illegal to keep.. Period .... Otherwise some folks would Lilkely hurt otherwise heathy fish (Bass) to keep/ fry... Dead fish, contrary to what some people may think.. In no way shape or form go to waste.

Seems like you answered you're own question... If its a catch & release lake, then there is no legal alternative, details can and do vary from state to state and from lake to lake.. So I think you're only choice is return the fish to the water,as far as other fisherman keeping fish out of that C&R lake.. You can report them if you're so inclined to do so...

What's wrong with keeping legal fish? What's wrong with home cooking said fish? Personally I don't get it... As far as you're dead bass, let the turtles eat it, give it to someone who will eat it, or... Cook it yourself... I don't see any other useful alternative.

Generally speaking yes.. @ 8' it may bump , most definitely @ 4'... Certain baits are tough enough to bump and grind, say scattered rock, brush, etc.. However the Dt 10, is not the crankbait I would use for that style of cranking... There are much stronger baits that will hold up better... IMO Bumping rock.. Will destroy the Dt baits... I like them..But I have tore up too many... Yozuri cranks are tough, Norman and a host of other company's ... Will hold up better.. Bombers are good too.. I like balsa baits, but be prepared to pay. Plus other factors, as in, rod tip high/ low.. Type of line/ size.. You throw with 20 pd. mono you will keep that bait up,more so,than throwing with 8 pd....study David Fritts, he's got crankbaiting down to a science.

It can matter, depending... But I have so much stuff now, I really don't do a trend analysis on it.. I have had what I would call, painful days.. Loosing Luckycraft pointers.. On Cumberland river in half a day.$50.. It's the price you gotta pay, if the baits are worthy... to me they are.. They are that good.. Same with Senkos/ Kut-Tale They tear easily... You don't have to loose them to replace them. They are baits that work very well. All hobbys are expensive now... Gotta pay to play....
