  1. A Succubus? Maybe?
  2. I Don't find CXX or Yozuri Hybrid difficult to manage, no I don't pour oil or grease on it either, I simply learned how the line behaved & adapted to it, once I used & proved it, I don't have to wonder about it anymore... Nothing I would rather use in rocks.. A more manageable copoly would be Pline CX ... Not as tough, but more manageable...
  3. I remember when Pline was considered high! It is very good line, as is hybrid, you just have to learn the lines characteristics.
  4. Russell Wilson's Running ability is what ultimately led to Denver being beat in overtime.. He's a very good running QB, but these running QB's are risking serious injury in doing so. At least till the NFL incorporates Flags on players sides! Anyone see that Chop block this past weekend?
  5. I like Bone & a frog pattern really well, I did use a white/red head in costal Fl. It worked well in salt..
  6. Curado I also has the revamped clutch as well, I used Diawa for years, I got use to re-engaging the clutch with my thumb, now on the "I" you can do the same.. On the 50e as you already know you have to move you're hand to the crank To re- engage... Not a big deal at all, just different clutches... Aluminum drag star on "I" and graphite on the 50.. Upgradable though..both reels are very good, both are different as well.
  7. The Officiating has been reminiscent of the time when collage referee's had to fill in on behalf of the NFL ... A few games have been horrendous.
  8. Hmm, Luckycraft has warnings on some baits, radiation will cause some of their baits to burst/swell, idk, never did it to cranks whether balsa or plastic... Interesting though
  9. Either, the I has a bigger gear set, 50E is smaller, They both are easy to palm, I give the nod to the curado I , it will outcast my 50e.. It's faster (7:2:1) and more powerful, the I is available in 3 different ratios, and the new braking technology is quite good.. The 50 is quite good as well... It really just boils down to you, the rod, and what you have in mind.. Either way , I believe you will really like both.. Yea, just buy both! Lol...
  10. I never did it, I believe in a great drag set properly & use the heel of my hand to add pressure on the spool if needed. But some folks do it. It seems pointless to me.
  11. Based on a cook down of persimmons this past weekend the seeds are indicating a most severe winter in the general Midwest ... It's been observed to be quite accurate.. I don't buy it.. But my wife swears by it.. I do believe, based on the past, rough winters seem to run in cycles of 2 & 3 years in South Ind. We shall soon know! Lol...
  12. Nice reporting, I hope the new version grows on you, the older recoil rods were special.
  13. Seems you know the answer, personally I don't work a jig in a mud bottom, ( back to boat ) initial pitch / flip is it for me, reel in, repeat.. Bouncing off cypress is good, I would rather throw a T-rig into grass ( weight depends on grass thickness ) Pitching open areas 1/4 to 3/8 ... The silt bottom is Likely swallowing up you're jig/ I love a jig, (sometimes) on a harder bottom, wood, rock... Just not on a silt bottom..
  14. Yay Peyton! Bengals looking a bit rough against the Pats..
  15. Wow! Geez, you might see a doctor my friend.. Idk.. But I think I would, Stay safe & thanks for sharing a very important life lesson... God speed...
  16. Good advice from Sloan .... As time moves forward you will fine tune a system.. Oh... Ditch the iPhone, lol..
  17. Check the flea market, a couple of PQ 's and a few rods there to boot....
  18. Maybe this helps.. A regular straight shank can also be used
  19. That's funny! & true..... Yep, on balsa floats, just insane prices on everything...
  20. Pflueger President in you're size of choice , Shimano Sellus on the Rod, should be able to pick both up for about a buck twenty... There are other rods that are a bit cheaper... But I would suggest sticking with the president on reel though
  21. Hehe, Raider Going to be the poorest electrician with a girlfriend & a wife..peace raider! Lol..
  22. Sound Advice from FishTank.. Unless its under warranty.. I say buy a new reel...
  23. Oh my! Another guessing game, hmm, I say.. Kentucky Spotted... Do I win?
  24. Don't know what bld. I'm guessing France on country...or Canada... Just Guessing.. Lol
