  1. To you're point, soft plastics tear, softer plastics tear even worse... I use Rage Craws/ Rage Rigged, other than that it's pit boss or other slightly more durable baits....
  2. Go Broncos!! Hey old guys take a bit longer to get going... Right Glenn? Lol....
  3. It may be the very water you fish as well, but you just need to focus on upsizing to plastic worms, and study best time periods, as in seasons,etc.. If you're not even catching a occasional fish on crankbaits, spinnerbaits, re- visit basics, or, find new water...
  4. MHM... Like said above Or, bigger traps and such I like a HMF action
  5. He shoulda bought a Ranger..... Neat photo, I guess it's floating... Or in really shallow water...
  6. ^ yup, no shortcut on rod shipping, unless you send multiple rods to a person, you absolutely should insure for full replacement cost.... Many arrive broke, schedule 40 pipe is one way, it's heavy, compared to cardboard tube, but tough...
  7. Dude, where is a pic of you're Harley ?
  8. Nice catch, that fish is a bit thin, a bit over 4, tail is damaged too, you catch that fish shallow? Nice fish, no matter the weight...
  9. ^^ lol... Hootie, man so, no new socks? Geez, only a core, a rod, tungston, tacklebag, plastics, wow, you're wife gotta twin? Lol!!! That's a very sweet lady you have, no doubt! Happy BDay!!
  10. Yes, they are a very good reel... I have had 0 issues outta mine....
  11. It's my choice in Florida waters, but can be killer on Kentucky lake as well...
  12. Cool... They are sweet little reels!
  13. I believe that reel has Arb bearings, I would use them, my reels throw plenty good... If I were to replace them, I would go Abec5 stainless....
  14. Yea, good luck with that.... TW has a something similar , sorta of...
  15. I would try a pack... Then you will know, I still prefer a trick worm, senko/ or a knock off... I tryed them... Once..( 1 pack )
  16. Yes, whew! Finally others confessing about it. One place, folks would laugh every time I would do it... No problem, keeps me sharp between trips, and as you say... Is relaxing to boot!
  17. That fish looks even bigger than nearly 15, also caught on a senko knock- off?
  18. Well they destroyed my Denver team in the SB... Boy, they looked very good, I thought maybe even better than last year.... Ugh , first game, they look mean.... Wes , @ derby , giving away hundred $ bills? Now I know why.... Sad... I wanna see New England and the Colts to better understand their games this year... Seattle is going to be forceful again...
  19. Absolutely Fragile, they do work, and so do trick worms....
  20. Welcome to BR & enjoy the Forums....
  21. Nice Job Hootie! That's the way to do it!!
  22. I tryed those Gammy w/ nylon guards....
  23. It's more versatile , it's a bait that can be fished at most any depth, fish it slow, burn it, rip it, yo- yo it, they throw real far, or really close , shad create noise in those pods, rattle baits create noise, bass in the fall almost seem to feed in a state of urgency it's a good choice, but so is a deeper diving crankbait, other methods work too, between a crankbait and rattle bait I use both, and like both, you should always have multiple rods rigged and fire away... One is going to be a standout, typically .... That's my experience anyway...
  24. Yep... Not just a pit though...I prefer straight shanks.. Over just about any other hook, doesn't mean I don't use other styles
  25. I have heard over the years, senkos have silica in them as well, a blood/ blue vien would be so cool, but yea, tough to do, no doubt! Good Work, always interesting hearing from bait makers ....
