  1. LMAO!! Yea, the bait monkey & baboon are very very close...
  2. Hello and Welcome to the Forums...
  3. I can tell you that co. Got outta rods.. Because they broke, broke, broke... I have a PG spinning rod... It's sound... But it's like rolling Dice in Reno..
  4. Yea pretty much, I use to Flip Big tubes a lot and that's a good bait to revisit because they seemingly have been dwindling in popularity since the whole beaver bait thing, Denny Brauer won the 98 classic flipping a tube the last day and cleaned up...lighter weights in brush for me... I want that bit of spiral...
  5. I used Powerbait everything for years, I still use it some.... Other than that I don't sweat it much..
  6. The GLX is very worthy of its Price, and the $100 replacement cost is a no- brainer... Most especially after crushing them in a Car window.... My Favorite Color is Clear, even I get that...
  7. Stradic Ci4+... In 1000 or 2500 Saros 1000 or 2500
  8. I throw xcalibur 100 & 200 in rocks as well, they are tough crankbaits and do the job.
  9. I like Glx... Have not fished anything very new though, sounds sweet!
  10. Yea, no Shortage of unreasonable, irrational, and border line/ over the line Physco-Paths out there.. I could tell you a few, highly intense story's, I decided I am not fighting over Fishing/hunting anymore... It just is not worth it,
  11. For me, Canada... Smallies...
  12. On Gl2 and Nrx rods, after purchase Loomis Rod Co. Will send a Wild card... It entitles you to immediate replacement any where those rods are sold... Plain and simple... You're on a trip and break it, get it replaced quick if there is a dealer close.... Basically , it's a no BS replacement card.

Ditto on those colors, I often use walleye colors for LMB and they really can be quite productive.
  14. $100 a rod is policy, accidents are just that, Loomis aka Shimano is really Squeezing Rod owners .... That's a tough gig... Hope you get you're rods replaced and are happy with... I would jump on a Nrx.. Then you will have a wildcard to boot... As well as probably the best mass produced rod avail.
  15. Trigged, Wacky Weedless ( 2/0 Owner SSW hooks) or 3/0 mosquito... Short tricks on Swim jigs, normal size on football jigs ... I could go on, like others said.. It's a bait that really has nearly endless rigging options, you gotta love that. My color is green pumpkin/ gold flake and Black.. So many, many colors available.
  16. Yep, seen many while fishing Florida, biggest I ever, ever seen was in Black Creek, Green Cove Springs, it was huge... I never fished that creek again... I don't scare easy either, but they can get massive in size! (Cotton Mouth)
  17. Yea, I think you use spinning, I like spinning gear, That would be a better fit with 1/8 and 3/16 even a1/16 oz. drop rigs....
  18. Now, they did wrap the bases of the Raw Carbon/ clear coat with burgundy wrap too... On WR1 and 2 the blank was painted Burgundy/ so that rod pic. May indeed be a raw carbon model.. Lot of pro sig. Models, that flip stick may be a Tom Mann model, they are good sticks...
  19. Hello, and Welcome to BR, Enjoy the Forums!
  20. Yea, the time frame of mid to late 90's WR1and 2 were burgundy colored blanks, some were raw carbon with a clear coat , also a rod builder in the know said many of those rods were built by Loomis, sold to All-Star, as well as other rod co. (Talking about Rod Blanks) All-Star built them of course...
