Trail Cams
I used passive Infra red in the early 90's and with limited checks on that it really helped me figure one particular Buck.... He was coming down the light duty trail about 8:30 to 9p... I used it for a month... Went back to Solid woodsmenship and never looked back... Learn the area, learn to identify big buck sign... And you will eventually be rewarded, just sayin... Like was said above, be careful... Big Bucks= Superbucks... They are like no other animal! They Will leave the area, leaving you frustrated.. You're eyes and sences are you best friend, not what you were asking , I know, I just thought I would suggest a other than camera ideal. Good luck, Happy Hunting!

Mis-Diagnose By Mechanic
Uhh, what did the first dealership fix? Nothing! Part swapping and charging because of incompetence is no excuse.

Weather Far Overpowers The Moon Scale...
Crayfish, insects, etc.. Also re-produce during strong moon influence. My 2 biggest whitetails were both harvested on full moon periods, I can't really nail it one way or the other, but it seems real valid sometimes, while other times not so much...

Carp Anglers! Help Me Get Started!

Yours Or Theirs
I joined Bassmasters Mag, at 14, in 1977... Learned some things, went to work... Then in the 80's I learned much more exacting info from Doug Hannon, and put it to work... Fishing Shows are much different now than they use to be... Which is why I don't watch them much... I have not learned anything new or amazing in fishing tactics in years, however, the changes in Rods and Reels is still very interesting and still developing.

Mis-Diagnose By Mechanic
Personally, I would strongly consider a claim Against that Mechanic, far too much incompetence in service and a real lack of mechanical/ Troubleshooting Skills and you/ people ...should not have to continue to foot the bill for this inability, file a complaint with the BBB and pursue a financial resolution.

Mis-Diagnose By Mechanic
Nooo, I think a proper conversation to the owner is a start, the mechanic is incompetent. I would push for restitution of some of this bogus work... That's something I will not tolerate anymore.

Monster Bass On Nj Golf Course Spotted (Repost)
It really can be difficult to guess a large fish, at night, and I have caught a few that I thought surely would go over 10... Only to weigh 7,8 and 9.... I have noticed at times the fish (LMB) seem to have huge heads/ other times, not so much.. It's seems certain you had a large fish there, how large? Who can guess outright?

Which $100 Rod?
I believe the *** is probably the best 100$ or slightly more, Rod today.... The exposed area under the reel seat has a graphite strip that many don't care for, me included but for the Backup use of the rod, it's fine and also fishes quite well. I have not fished it solidly for 8 or 10 hours a day but @ 3 to 5 I have not been overly bothered by it. It would be my pick.

St. Croix Avid Ultralight Rod
The Saros in 1000 is a sweet little reel for the money, I didn't care for the 4000..too much flex in the reel foot stem...
