  1. Just out of curosity did you check the plugs to see how much oil is on them? If it blowing out the exhaust then it would also be fouling plugs real bad. But guess would be that it is coming from the seal in the lower unit.
  2. i recently came in 3rd place in a tourney and both of these guys that fininshed ahead of me was fishing roadrunners. also i was talking to a friend of mine who is a local dnr ranger and he was telling me about some a couple of guys who was fishing on up the lake who was throwing them and having good luck. I havent tried them but i see me giving them a try in the very near future

  8. Rapala is also fixing to come out with with some lucky craft knock offs. From what one of there prostaffers told me they have already made some some prototypes of the lures and the guys getting to fish them is having a lot of sucess off them.
  9. I like throwing buzz baits durning the summer espically at night. I really like the idea of the jointed design either the split ring or the one wire hooked to the eye because it would make it harder for the fish to throw the bait. I too believe i will try to make some to try.

  11. t-rig or c-rig soft plastic in green pumpkin
  12. Fishing behind some one just makes it a more of a challenge. A lot of the lakes i fish is high pressured lakes anyway so you really cant let fishing behind someone worry you to much you just got to go on and do your own thing because there is no two anglers going to fish a like.
  13. I like the booyah jigs.
  14. Nice looking bait. i have been working on a swim bait similiar to yours but the problem i have ran into is finding eyelets that is small enough for what i need. Is the ones you used some you picked up at a local hardware store?
  15. IT looks like one is just in alphabetical order i think all the anglers are the though.
  16. In tournament fishing my first priorty is to catch my limit then start trying to catch bigger fish. I think that it takes a good bit of skill to catch good numbers of bass consistently but i agree with roadwarrior if you tournament fish at least in georgia you dont catch a lot of big fish 10+ lbs. there is a lot of skill involved in fishing for monster bass also and my hat is off to them guys. But as far as saying one is skill and one is luck I dont nessacarily agree with that because luck plays a part in both types of fishing as well as skill plays a part.
  17. hey guys thanks for the input I think I will give power pro a try

  22. Hey man will be going down on saturaday the 24th. caution if you aint never been to one then you better watch out for the bait monkey.
  23. One option you have is to respray the clearcoat. Once you get all the old sanded down then you can use a good quality automotive urethane clearcoat to spray it. If this is done be sure to mix a fast hardener in the clearcoat before spraying this will help to eliminate any small air pocket caused by wet sanding down into the metal flakes. You could also use a good quality auto paint to repaint the whole boat then spray the clear on top of it. when appling the clear i will usaully apply a lighter coat then let it tack up for about 15-20 min then i will spray on several heavier layers giving each time to tack up. Then i usally wait about a week then buff it.
