  1. Got out early this morning 4:50 am till around 10 am before it got too hot. Had a good day on the water and caught 9 fairly decent sized fish. All fought hard so it was a blast. I am really trying to make it out next weekend. I hope everyone is having a good weekend!
  2. Had a 15 fish day today in 3 hours. It was a great day, I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!
  3. You catch her during a storm? Seeing the line run in some choppy water is always a thrill.
  4. From a kayak, 12 mph sustained winds. The most frustrating thing in the world is trying to fish in a kayak when you need to constantly readjust yourself due to the wind.
  5. Nah, I've read books on the subject though lol. Seems like an okay hobby.
  6. It'll make ya wanna get back on the water even more than you did before. Positivity in everything homie!
  7. Glad to send you a copy. Pretty sure a few members have been using mine. It is super easy to update and manipulate to your liking as well. You can hit my email McDuffeer13@gmail.com if you would like one.
  8. Unfortunately some nasty weather cut my Saturday fishing trip short, but I did get a nice fish. I love fishing overcast weather! I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Tight lines!
  9. Bass Pro shops Bone Dry...This is not their million dollar Gortex suit, but it is incredible. Never have had a problem with the suit.
  10. I always read after I post! Haha
  11. I honestly didn't read any of the responses so there could be a lot of repeated information in here, but here are few words of advice for you. The first thing, it all pays off. There is no substitute for being on the water. I have been fishing seriously for 5 years now (rookie compared to everyone in this forum) and my first few seasons were ROUGH, I mean real bad. I was catching small dinks on a single bait for the whole season or I was getting skunked. There were no other alternatives lol. I didn't even wanna go on the water anymore. I eventually realized that fishing is incredibly mental and for your fishing to change, you mentally need to change. What I mean by that is, you said "But when I get there take my first cast, second and third with no luck. I feel my confidence begin to ebb away." That use to happen with me all the time. You need to just fight through it, and not allow doubt to creep in. Remember, you know how to fish, it's not like you have never fished before. So stick with your idea, and if it doesn't work try something else. You can't force feed bass a bait that they don't want (some will disagree, but that's not the point). The difficult part is to recognize when you need to switch to a new technique. You mentioned that you switch to Senkos, that is because those are you confidence bait. You clearly fish them often and have gained confidence in them. But, I bet when you first fished a Senko you didn't think it would work, and now it is your go-to technique. What you need to to do is go on the water with one rod and bait, and fish the specific technique until you can't fish it anymore. That will build your mental confidence up, which will open plenty of doors for you on the water. Everyones been in your situation before man, keep grinding out those days!
  12. It was a great day on the water. Got 3 nice chunks and a few average fish. The Wacky Worm was smokin' them today. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Monsoons are coming tomorrow!
  13. For sure, what's your email?
  14. I got a nice fishing log if anyone wants the excel format to keep track off stuff.
  15. Got on some chunks today. Had to work for em though. Hope everyone is enjoying Memorial Day Weekend! Tight lines!
  16. Got out today and got on 3 fish. Should have been 6, but I was a little rusty on the hooksets lol. Found a big female on a bed in the back of a random creek and capitalized. It was a nice fight. Hope everyone is having a good time out there!
  17. Just out of curiosity, how'd it happen?
  18. Swivels kill action, best not to use one. Only takes a few seconds to tie a new lure on!
  19. I made created the specific table so I could search based on all the categories, which makes it incredibly easy to pick up on patterns.
  20. I can actually send you my Excel template if you would like to use it. Very effective and also simple. If you send me a PM with your email I will send you the file.
  21. Went out and smoked em today. All were shallow, and every single one of them was on wood as well. Jigs were the key.
  22. This kind of tough though, I mean if someone like goes through the effort to find a spot from a picture they probably really care about the sport, and I guess I wouldn't mind them fishing my spot. I'd be worried if they told people though.
  23. d**n Mike he put you on blast smh.
  24. Graduate Studies for my Masters?
