Pro Qualifier Brakes
The PQ uses a common centrifugal braking system that other Doyo reels use such as the Pure Fishing stuff and other brands but for whatever reason my PQ needed 4 brakes on to match the braking of other Doyos I've owned with only 2 brakes engaged. Maybe mine is a special snowflake but I wouldn't be surprised if as many as 4 braked needed to be engaged to get into the '2 pin sweet spot' setting. .

Topwater Rod And Reel
I use my crankbait sticks. Any crankbait stick worth its salt should be able to function as a topwater stick without your arm failing off. Powell Diesel and Crankin stick are great options under $100. A reel with 6 pin centrifugal braking, or something comparable, spooled with braid or mono is about as good as it's going to get reel wise.

Bass Pro Shops Crankin' Rod
Great crankbait rod. Light weight and well balanced enough to be a great topwater stick too.

Best Soft Plastic Baits For Northern Fishermen
Your standard bass fair should work 'up north' just fine. I don't get the notion that clear, deep, weedy water is some sorta game changer requiring ultra light lines and finesse baits. Creatures, worms, craws and swimbaiits all work well. Watermelon, green pumpkin and their variations are great colors. .

New Megabass S-Crank
Neat. Dragging it along the bottom ruins the hunting action and it likes to ride on it's side so a lot of guys probably aren't going to like it. I'm guessing it's got a knocker/ballast weight mounted up high in the body that is producing the instability. Beats spending 20-30 dollars on Waddle Bats with their little blades.

Need Lures Identification
Those crankin raps are supposed to hunt. I'd hold on to that one at least.

Crankin Rap Shallow in Red Craw and a LC live pointer.

Stick a vintage Lews on it and keep it as a decor item in a man cave or something.

Your Setup : Chatterbait , Spinnerbait , Swim Jig ?
7' MH ModFast, #30 8 carrier braid and a 6.x:1 reel for all 3 baits.

Livingston Lures New
This. The 20 foot Dive Master is worth a look if you're a DD 22 guy and want something that can get down to 20 feet. Buy a used one with dead batteries and you can be at DD 22 money.

Spinnerbaits
Spring and fall but mid summer in the weeds is my favorite time.

Swimbaits
I take it we're talking 3-5 inch paddle tail swimbaits and not the big bad hard body stuff. I like to fish a 4 1/2 inch paddle tail on the back of a 3/8 -1/2 oz swim jig and fish it like spinnerbait or place one on a spinnerbait/buzzbait as a trailer. Weighted swimbait hooks and even a texas rig are popular options as well. Equipment: I use a general purpose 7' MH, in my case a Daiwa Jupiter paired to #14 mono/fluro or #30-#40 braid with a wire leader if I need to rip it through weeds and when toothy fish are present. When it comes to rods just about any MH will do the job but I'd be a bit leery about anything with an ultra stiff tip considering that it is a moving bait. The kind of rod you'd throw spinnerbaits on will work very well. When it comes to reels you can use anything from ultra fast to ultra slow. A 6.x:1 is a good middle ground ratio. I use a 7.x:1 and it's a little too fast for me to keep the bait real deep. Baits: I use the BPS Sally Sally in the 4 1/2 inch size because it's a cheap, durable Little Dipper knock off. There's a lot of good baits on the market today so it's hard to go wrong just stay away from anything with a stiff tail action.

Scatter Rap Shallow in bluegill or smash colors.

Spro Rock Crawler
Crankin Raps are wart style baits that come in shallow, medium and deep versions and are said to be hunting baits by a number of people. Worth a look.

Slowest-Falling Jigs?
Buckeye Mini mops fall super slow due to their big plume of living rubber. The Siebert Outdoors jig with their high strand counts, some of them even featuring living rubber, are definitely worth a look.

Suggestions For A Cheap But Decent Crankbait Rod
The medium power LR shocks are good for $50 but a Crankin Stick is a whole heck of a lot better. You should be able to pick one up for around $60 once the online BPS classic sale starts.

Pq'r After Market Drag Set ?
The drag is all herky jerky. It's not a sticky drag that locks up, just that is isn't smooth. Not a big deal on a baitcasting reel when we're talking about using #14 monos and #30+ braids. .

Bps Revolution Low Profile Reel = Next Gen Pro Qualifier?
Yep. It's some sort of satin black big bait reel. If I was in the market for a big swimbait/musky $100 reel then I'd give it a look at.

What Would Sell Best? A Blinking Swimbait Ie. Mighty Bite, But Segmented, Or A Blinking Bloody Frog?
I take it you run a storefront or something similar and are contemplating ordering some Chinese glowy lures and the choice is between a light up frog bait and a light up swimbait? When the Livingston lures came out I remember commenting that the only croaking and glowing lure I want is a frog and I stand by that. It might help the fish to locate the bait through the veg easier. I've seen some of your other posts and you seem to know how things work over there in these Asia wholesale markets but there's a lotta crap out there to sort through. If you can track down a light up hollow belly frog that doesn't sink like a rock then It's sell able for sure.

Bps Pq Or Daiwa Tatula
Nothing bad about it other than maybe the drag. There are other reels out there that are better for $99 and also go on sale regularly. My BPS Nitro Tournament Z which retailed for $99 and that I payed $60 for is smoother and has more ball bearings. Even my $74 Quantum Acurist PT is a little more free than my PQ. I don't get all the hype behind the reel. There was a point in time when it was amazing for $100 but that time has come and gone.and it is good for $50-$60 given the competition.

Bad Experience With Bps Pro Qualifier
This rustled my jimmies. Those are the centrifugal brakes. It's casting and not going very far, or is it backlashing on you? If its not backlashing/casting when set to free spool, centrifugal brakes are off and there's basically no mag braking, then it sounds like there is some friction on the spool that shouldn't be there. Send it back.

Bps Pq Or Daiwa Tatula
Tatula. The PQ is good for $50. I bought mine for $65 last year and wouldn't buy another one for that price let alone $100.

Bps Stik-O Worm
No more Senkos for me. Stick-Os are all I use. $10 for a 50 count bag isn't too bad either.

Black & Blue
Ready for a mind blower? Bass are colorblind to blue. The have no blue receptors in their eyes making them biologically incapable seeing blue, yet black and blue jigs are a staple of bass fishing. Bass see black and blue as black and grey jigs but good luck selling black and grey jigs to anglers.
