  1. My reels are at least 7:1 and higher. I can't stand slow reels.
  2. I use M/F and a MH/F graphite rods for my shallow and mid cranking.
  3. One is ill keep different types in the same binder page, And two if I want to let's say pull out five bags and put in five of a different type , it makes it quick and easy.
  4. A 24" bass is somewhere (roughly) around 8 lbs.
  5. I use the t/ rig, weighted and un weighted. I don't bother with the shaky head. Pretty much the same thing in my mind. You want to finesse, down size weight and plastics. Just use floating type plastics if you want your bait off the bottom more. Also I have zero hard/rocky bottom lakes in my area.
  6. I prefer the BPS Stick-O.
  7. I use M/F and MH/F for my shallow and medium cranking with braid and love it. I don't do any deep cranking. I've used moderate action rods in the past and sold them. Youll have to see for yourself what you prefer.
  8. I recommend and have the large double size binder and really like it. I keep my plastics in their original packaging and slide them in the binder pages. Its strong and made well and holds a good amount. Mine right now has just under 10 lbs of plastics in it. ( yes I did put it on my digital scale ).
  9. Welcome, enjoy the forums.
  10. Of these two I prefer the pbj, which has produced pretty good in the fairly clear waters I fish. i rarely use a black/blue jig. I stick with Browns, green pumpkin, watermelon hues. my best producer would be more of a bama craw pattern.
  11. I'd take SI. I fish small lakes, smaller than yours (100 acres). looking at the garmin striker 7SV.
  12. Beautiful bass, congrats!
  13. None. I don't even replace my main line every season.
  14. I like the Alberto ( modified Albright).
  15. As mentioned the manns baby 1 minus is very good ( bass color) and my # 2 choice. My # 1 is the BPS the egg in xxx shad color. This is a 7/16 oz, 2" bait that cast a long ways to cover a lot of water with a nice wobble. Runs less than a foot deep. Great for that skinny water. I replace the hooks on both baits as the stock hooks aren't very good.
  16. Three I use the most are netbait paca craw, pitboss, rage craw.
  17. I don't hear any of that...that's why I'm still married, 25 years and counting.
  18. I don't bring the net, I did once and didn't even bother to use it. It sits in my garage for I don't know how many years now. I don't flip any in the boat ether, dinks I'll just lift and grab. My boats are small and sit close to the water, so while sitting in my seat I just reach over and lip most of them. If it gets a little narly with trebles I grab one of the trebles with my pliers to help control the bass and then lip them. This is all recreational, relaxing fishing, I don't fish tournaments.
