  1. You leave your batteries plugged in 24/7?
  2. Didn't someone sayg In conjunction to the improved Ulterra that is coming out in the fall? Someone on here said that the new Ulterra was supposed to have improved spot lock. Didn't say anything about quietness.

If you use a piece of rubber tubing and put the hook through that and then the Senko though the rubber tubing, one Senko can last for many trips.
  4. You do a lot of casting for bass, less for walleye. Easier to fish more people. I thought a bass boat would be hard to fish little kids out of too, but talked to a friend who has little kids, under 7 and he said it works out fine. He has little seats for them to sit on and none have ever fallen out of a boat. Also always wearing life jackets.
  5. Even if it wasn't for larger families, wouldn't making a boat in comparable size to match the competition be a good idea?
  6. I like the concept of the Lund Pro-V Bass but it's too small for someone with a family and children. Wondering if the Lund Pro-V Bass becomes a successful model if they will introduce the Pro-V Bass in 21' and 22' foot models to compete with other bass boats standard length boats. Lund obviously sees the benefit of the larger boat as they are making a Pro-V Bass 2075 in 20' feet. Also if they made this larger model if they would expand the current 96" beam to a 100" inch beam to also match competitors boats.
  7. I currently use 15lbs. Power Pro braid with a diamater of 4lbs. test on my spinning reels. I was wondering if 10lbs. braid, which probably has the diameter of 2lbs. test would cast farther or if it would be similar? I'm fishing for bass near docks and weeds, so I need it to be tough. Wondering if going down to 10lbs. would have the same castability but just be weaker and more prone to breakage?

    Bwahahaha.
  9. What boat do you want to get in a few years?
  10. When I want to weight a wacky rigged Senko I put a small nail into the head of the Senko and down it's length. Works good.
  11. I always use yellow Power Pro braid so that I can see it. Fish don't seem to mind it.
  12. Watch out for single stall garages!!!! I have always had a 2 car garage door. So my boat easily fits in it. Moved into a new house that had 3 single stalls but was over 30 feet deep. I thought great for my 17' foot boat! I backed the boat up and it looked tight, so I put the truck in park and got out and looked. It looked really tight. I measured it and the garage door opening was too narrow by 1/2 of an inch. I couldn't believe it. So I couldn't park my boat in my new house. That sucked.
  13. Is the towing length different bc the motor is up?

I own a ton of Spooks in different sizes but didn't catch a ton. Switched to a KVD Sexy Dawg (KVDs version of a Spook) in perch and started killing them and haven't stopped. I bought 2 spare and don't take my Spooks out anymore. I don't know what it is, the way it walks, if it's easier to walk, but the KVD is the best Spook type bait I've ever tried, albeit I haven't tried a ton.
  15. Never caught many on hollow body frogs. Caught a ton on Ragetail Toads. Also, a Texas rigged Ragetail Bug has caught a ton on topwater. Go figure.
  16. I'm gonna try to call tomorrow. I've looked for aftermarket ones and haven't found anything. I haven't even found the Ranger one, and I know that that one exists.
  17. Is the dealer paying for all the damage from delivery?
  18. Is that the recess cover's official name? Maybe that's why I can't find it.
  19. What do you mean count? Do some states say you have to wear your lifejacket the entire time you're on the water?
  20. Thanks. I will have to call them. What is a blank off?
