finally back to "hard core" (for me) fishing. 3+ days a week on the water is amazing. Wed. was a very good bluegill flyrod day with 10 overall and 2 over a pound. i got a few small male bass hanging around some logs i threw a 6in zoom lizard (motoroil gold sparkle with a chart. tail) followed by a fire tiger mini-tube. we are harvesting less than 14" so it was a pretty successful day. today was even better--the bass are nailing the poppers on the fly and i missed 2 on the buzzbait. i threw a cotton candy tube to the same bass that were around a log but every log i moved to (total of 5) the small bass would scatter and a larger bass would hit the tube. the biggest being about 2 lbs. this was not a big one but it was the first on the firetiger tube . i used the avid technique with my "alabama face"

i wouldnt have cared if i didnt catch anything as long as i have wet line im happy. but i did pretty well making the fish angry with my tube. first cast i get bit by a BLUEGILL with on the tube (shows you how big these gills are in this pond) i didnt get him in though. i was sight fishing with my costas which was amazing--i managed to land a few decent bass. but the panfish action was sweet. two bluegill over one pound and one right at a pound. here is the 1 lber

aw man...ive had expirience with something like those flys. in mexico my friend had on on his stomach and you have to pop the puss sac with a needle then pull it out...gross.

lizards, snakes, and uncontrolled heights (building:ok--cliffs--bad) but the dark is the worst for me.i have to run when i turn out the light in my bathroom at night.

in AUG 04 phish played their last two shows in coventry vermont. this is a video of the last song of the second set of day two--just before the encore. the song is called "vwading in the velvet sea" the keys player Page McConell can barely sing and at one point turns the mic toward the crowd to let the fans finish before he is encouraged by trey anastasio to go on. truly an emotional time for the band and all phish fans. i watched a simulcast of the show in birmingham, al. i felt like i was there. WARNING A LITTLE LANGUAGE!

i was raised on the drums, picked up guitar at 9, picked up bass at 12, then concentrated on drums for a few years, now i play banjo and guitar almost full time. i sometimes play solo acoustic shows.
