One Stop Senko Answers
I know there's 5,000 topics about this on the website and I've read just about all the threads but I want a few final answers about senko's. 1. I've bought green pumpkin with red flake and had significant success. I also bought baby bass and had great success, both 5". -->I want to get back to buying 4" along with the 5". Which do YOU feel produces the best? What other colors are proven bass catchers? Also, what colors, through your experience--should be avoided at all costs. 2. Under what circumstances, if any, should a senko be fished weighted? ---------------------------------------------- Miscellaneous Question 1. What is a good buzzbait to purchase and where can I find it? Bass Pro, ***, etc? 2. Should I throw Zoom Horny Toads into frog like habitat? Lilly Pads, edges of ponds, etc. THANKS FOR THE HELP

Rigging, Advice & Thoughts
I have ONE spinnerbait, in which I found by getting snagged on some guys line that he snapped off at the river and luckily being able to free it one I got the line to shore. --What kinda' trailer would you guys use for this and what color skirting would you choose? When it comes to topwaters, I've never had ANY success whatsoever. I have the Yo Zuri Sashimi Pencil(which I received from MTB), two Strike King Frongs and two poppers(one was handmade and the other was a bass pro tourney special). I usually throw out into the depths and bring back from shore however, the more I read; I see that's not what I'm supposed to do. What's the "perfect conditions" for a top water? I don't mean time of day, I'm talking "location". When it comes to plastics, I own the Z-Man Worms, Gambler Flappy Daddy's, Zoom Salty Super Fluke's in White Pearl and Zoom Horny Toads. Is fishing the fluke weighted a better option than weightless? I notice that when I fish it weightless it spends a lot of time within a few inches of the top of the water. how would you guys rig these two? I'm more concerned on an effective way to rig the Z-Man worm and if I should fish the flappy daddy's on a jig or certain hook?

Most Active Topwater Lure

Most Active Topwater Lure
LOL, okay so i'll bite[no pun intended]. All I have is a Yo Zuri Shashimi Pencil, two frogs and two poppers -- is a buzzbait a quality thing to get for topwater? I want to experience this topwater explosion! lol

Most Active Topwater Lure
Here comes a question from a clueless one, what is a double buzzbait?

Impressions Of The Rage Bug
I guess I need to order some green pumpkin. I was too excited and ordered PB&J and Summer Craw, only had one catch so far with the Summer Craw, that's it.

How Many Of Yall Always Start With A Topwater?
Man, you guys are lucky. I'll say it again, I've never even had a fish show interest in a topwater.

Bit Of A Problem Here...
I thought I had limes disease earlier this year when I found a tick the next day. My doctor told me that it takes a tick 24 hours to fully feed and you can't develop limes disease until the end of that duration. They bite you, suck the blood and as they're done -- they kinda' "spit" or "throw up" into the bite and that's when you get infected. Where i'm from in PA, we only have to worry about deer ticks. He said they're kinda' hard to see which let me deduce it not being a deer tick. They creep me out, saw one crawling across the dash of my car two days after I had last fished.

Numbers Or Size...what Is More Important To You?
With me, I'll take whatever comes to me. My dad goes out strictly for size, his biggest goal is catch a musky lol

Weekend Bassin'
Well, I woke up yesterday at about 10:00 and my dad apparently had planned a day at the lake. We headed up to Kaercher Creek Lake in Hamburg, PA to land some bass and search for a musky. We read that the day before, a guy landed this 50 inch, 31 lb musky on a whopper plopper. He caught a sunny and threw it on a bobber trying to get something bigger as we fished a weed bed off a shallow shore. He had absolutely no luck, he threw a field mouse; a rat-l trap and a yellow & red flat fish -- nodda. I however, was opposite him on the shoreline, wading out to my knee's throwing out a baby bass senko. I brought in about 4 in an hour. Nothing spectacular, normal sized largemouth's. Well, fast forward to today. Woke up and he had planned to go to Pinchot in York/Lewisbury. Absolutely no luck for the first hour as we were throwing over some big boulders. I tried my newly purchased flukes, nodda. Squarebills and spinnerbaits -- nodda. After I persuaded him to move spots, we went over towards the dam where there were some orange buoys. After no luck there for about 45 minutes, he told me to put on the worm 'cause that's what I catch fish on....YET he won't ever use 'em when he see's me pulling fish out. Sure enough, threw it on and tossed it right in front of a few buoys before the dam and landed this monster. Definitely made the trip worth it, nothing better than a little father son time.

How Many Of Yall Always Start With A Topwater?
You guys have luck on topwater, can I have some of that? I've had ONE bass take a frog I threw back when the river was up. Haven't got so much as a bite on any of my poppers, my Yo Zuri Shashimi pencil or any of my frogs.

Flukes
I got to bass pro just as they were closing and folded and got Zoom White Pearl for the first batch here. I just have these 3 EWG hooks with a keeper, they should work well.
-
Flukes
I'll check out Gene's videos on 'em, and I'm going to look into that Caffeine Shad. Are we talking the 5"? I'm going to take a guess and say the pearl and ghost shad are quality colors?
-
Flukes
Zoom flukes I guess! Do you just texas rig these & bring 'em back?
-
Flukes
So, who's the "better" maker of these? Zoom, i'm assuming?[uneducated guess].

Flukes
I see ya'll talking about flukes a lot and how they put a lot of fish on your line and I'm looking for some help. I'm going to bass pro tonight to get a few more packs of senko's[i needed a bag in a pinch last week at WalMart & all they had was baby bass, well I caught 4 today in an hour with 'em.] and I'm wondering which I should look at getting? I also am unsure of technique when working them. Do colors correlate with colors of senko's and when to fish them?
