  4. Can't speak for the lake but for your swimbait combo... I would get a phenix m1 inshore. The lightest rating 1/2 to 3 ounce I think. It has been a great rod for me and will throw big hudds swavers down to little 3/8 swimbaits I paired min with a Abu Garcia revo inshore. This is a really sweet combo and it will throw all your swimbaits I spool the reel with 30 pound braid and a 15 pound fluro leader....
  5. looking to buy a new casting rod. Have been looking at megabass orochi or shimano zodias just wondering who's used what and if the megabass is worth the extra 100 bucks.

  11. I was just at Jackson lake right below grand tetons. we hammered the mackinaw trout there. flashers with rapala hardbaits and flatfish were the ticket. caught 18 in one day to 3 pounds. orange meat like salmon. don't thing theres any bass at all in the area.

  13. Squarebills are fine with 7:1:1 I use 5:4:1 for my other deeper divers
  14. Hudd 30 bucks Megabass xpop 20 caught a couple on the megabass nothing yet on the hudd...
  15. headed out to sand hollow caught 5 decent 2 pounders on watermelon senkos. Fishing is ok right now.
