I have a pair of Solar Bats. I really like them. Never had a pair of Costas so I can't compare.

I've got that rod. I use it for jigs, t-rigs, c-rigs and spinnerbaits. It's a great jig rod. I have caught a ton of fish with it. Every time I think I want to upgrade I go out and catch a bunch of fish with it.

I just read KVD's book and he says use them. Enhances the action. He has over 2.6 million reasons to back up his claim.

Did you score any Norman cranks on sale? Thats what what i went for.

I have several Shimano Compre rods with xfast tip. I find that they cast lite plastics very well. You also have a quicker hook set with xfast, the bend is all at the top. For plastics fished on bottom you can't go wrong with xfast. Remember though, this is just my opinion.

Gave the jerk bait and a couple of lipped cranks a go this weekend. Great baits, cranks ran true out of the box. Really nice colors on them.

Dave is the most customer friendly business person I have ever dealt with. When he tells you he will have your reels back to you in a certain time frame you can count on it. His word is gold.

I read somewhere that companies put salt on the outside of baits to make it easier to get them into the packaging.

Hey Biz - Would that bait (and others like that) be mainly a clear water bait? I fish a low viz lake, but am intrigued by this swim bait stuff. What would you suggest in low viz, under 1oz ? Thanks

I put the split shot about 18" above the bait.

They may look crappy to you, but they sure do catch fish for me. It continues to amaze me that if a product cost less than one from Japan some people have to poo poo on it. The 3.5" Live Magic Shad fished on a split shot rig is a great summer search bait. Bonzai!
