  9. im going to have to agree 100%, baits dont look that naturel especially with the GIANT shiny hooks that are hanging out of the baits we all use, so I would have to say it doesnt matter if you use a leader or not imho.

  15. I love fireline in 15 pound, and grand slam as well, in 15 or 20 or even higher.
  16. Yeah its fine ive done it before, make sure you have a medium to medium heavy rod, I would use at the very least 15 pound braid and go higher from there, depending on how thick the cover is you are fishing.
  17. Just depends on if I have work or not but ive gone out at 3:30am and stay out till 10 or 11pm.
  18. My plans are to stay away from any type of body of water as there will be about 10,000 people per drop of water in/around said lakes and rivers and such.
  19. It was probably most likely a bobcat, they scream exactly like a woman and it will scare the living sh@# out of you! I know it did me.
  20. The storm is still rolling through bud, I would suggest going tommorow as they will be absolutely KILLING it!!!!!
  21. I would definitely stick with spinning gear for a while till you grow with experience and confidence, learning new techniques and how/when/what to throw, I love using baitcasters but equally (if not more) love throwing spinning gear its more versatile imo, so I would invest in a good quality spinning reel and rod.
  22. I agree ditch the swivel, maybe try braid in 10 pound test, and if you dont already try palomar knots or clinch knot.
  23. im not even going to entertain you're liberal mindset.
  24. Normally I bring it in toss a senko and get them on that.
  25. Absolutely not! I love fishing with spinning gear, and I love using a bait caster, but I'll take spinning gear any day or the week it's more versatile IMO but you don't NEED a baitcaster are they fun to throw once you get used to them yeah sure and is it a good idea to increase skills of course but deffinatly not needed.
