Reel set up and rod choice could be your problem.

I have some Abu cheaper reels and some better reels.. I don't think the Silver Max and the Pro caster will last very long. My Orra sx and my Revo stx are my better reels.. I will be buying more Orra sx and Revo's as the cheaper one's wear out but for now the cheaper one will do.

Vmax Tank trolling motor AGM. There a little high but they have a battery for every need. Vmax tank is considered one of the best. So check them out. I just bought the 137 AGM which has a 127 ah.

My club is thinking about doing MFL style. I my self would like it but I don't know how there going to do it. But It doesn't matter because it looks like I'm not going to be able to fish any tournaments next year.

Memphis Tn sucks big time but in the county people are a lot nicer. I live in Tipton county it's 35 miles north of Memphis where people are a lot friendlier .

I wear Ccoons fit overs with amber lens. They work great for me.

Josh . If you have so good spots on the lake your going to fish, You can tell him about them before blast off. If the boater is a jerk about you will find out real quick. Just remember unless you are friends you are a passenger on his boat. If I have a co angler I'm always willing to try the spots out . I might even let you run the front but that's just me . Most won't !!!! . The best thing to do is buy your own boat.

My pet pevs are jet skies. I can see how they could be a lot of fun. It sadden me that most people with jet skies have no clue what safety is. I think most jet skies comes with a dumb ass attached to it. My ex partner that fished tournaments with me did something that really made me angry. We pulled into a cove fishing dock and boat houses. He was running the front of the boat and pulled up on a dock that had fishing poles and lines in the water. One had a fish on it so he decided to see what was on the line. It was a catfish but if it would have a bass on it he would have took it I would have thrown him off the boat but we pulled the boat with his truck. End of story My ex partner.

Now that's a happy young fellow.

I have a BASS tote bag that is full of soft plastics. More than half of that bag has never been opened.. A lot of my soft baits came from LTB . I got some good stuff from LTB but there is a lot that will never be used. I think all of us have stuff that will never be used.. My wife says I'm crazy !!~ she might be right.!!!

And handy with a net.

Thank you for such a great story. I've followed KVD since he was a new comer. If he was to stop his tournament fishing today it wouldn't be long before he would have his own fishing show and yes I would record them every week.
