Try the palomar knot. I always used the improved clinch knot before becoming a member of this forum. I kept seeing that most folks here use the palomar knot. For the reasons you describe I became convinced to change. Once I became comfortable using it I now find its easier to tie. This has been one of many, many things I owe to and have learned on this forum.

Hey Muddy, I checked with Steinbrenner on the limo and he said he was gonna let Willie Randolph borrow it in FL that week otherwise we could of had it. I told him that there were these two Mooks who were lookin for a fishin guide in Texas....he's gonna send A Rod over to be your guide so he can show you the fine art of striking out Sure do wish there was a way to do that Brooklyn Italian Feast.....I'm droolin just thinkin about it....we all need to brainstorm on that one.........

I agree 100%. I do not own a boat so any invitation for me is like a million bucks. I tend to be early and grateful for the invitation. I just think thats common courtesy if someone is nice enough to take you out. It would get under my skin if I had the boat and invited someone.

A thought for those that will be flying in. If we can arrange to arrive in Dallas around the same time we can car pool and split car rental costs. Perhaps even rent a van if there is enough interest. A little early to figure the logistics of this but I will be happy to coordinate an effort of this nature. Could be two airports involved (DFW and Love Field). Anyone interested?

Maybe we could just trade A Rod for the WS trophy.....whoever wins the WS gets him for the hardware!
