So much can happen in the NFL.  I think we might have to wait until mid/late November to start the true trash talking.

My views:

The NFC so far it looks like a one horse race.  The Bears simply look UNBEATABLE so far

The AFC is wide open.  Yes the Colts are still undefeated, but they don't look like the Colts of the past and look very beatable.  I think everybody but Oakland, Tennessee, Houston, and Cleavland have a legitimate shot.  But like I said, it's REAL early.  IMO the Chiefs will take it all, but I am a little bias. ;D ;D ;D ;D  If I had to pick the most impressive team in the AFC so far ....... I would say San Diego.

Hey Risk good luck I hope this thread is as good as the baseball thread Which would not be posssible without all you fellas I know as much about football as I do Quantum Mechanics but Ill jump in every once in a while

I am always up for some trash talk about the NFL my team is the defending champs.  They are starting off a little slow but that is good for them they always play better when they have to work for it.  The QB is starting to play like every one knows that he can and the defense is awsome as always.  They will be there at the end hopefully defending there championship and winning another need to start on the other hand now.

Hey Bassmasta....your Dirty Birds are lookin good! They could get to the Superbowl but not sure they can get past the Colts or Broncos...........and never count out Mr Brady and Mr Belichek

The Pats looked good last night against the Vikings,highly rated defense, 31to 7..Big game next week against the Colts,the Patriots have been able to play well verses the Colts,just the way the Broncos play well against the Pats,I dont think I'd crown Payton as king just yet.

Although my Broncos lost to the Colts, it was one heck of a game. Payton was impressive, but without a running game and a very suspect defense, I don't think they can go all the way. That said, the Colts are 7-0 and I guess that speaks volumes.

I'm going to stay on the band wagon. Denver has an outstanding defense and a potential Elway waiting in the wings. As it stands, there are several better teams out there, but the "best team" doesn't always win.
