  3. i have the almost the same thing happening....it leaks about 2cm of water when it is first in the water then somehow it seals at the plug and no more water comes in....im going to go get a new plug

  5. actually a lot of older boats dont have those plates....i know mine doesnt...its a 1972 i think...but yeah all the newer ones do

  7. put a couple wings on that thing if your going to put a 90hp on that lil guy .....i think thats a little over powered....i have a 16' v-hull and 25hp pushes it around pretty good...i mean sure i'd love to have a 35 or 40 on it but it might be illegal....and not safe

  11. just keep looking around....marinas....paper....online classifieds in surrounding towns....you look hard enough and you'll find just the one you want....took me nearly 4 months to find what i wanted....but i got it ;D

  14. well i was watching some bass come to the surface and had a texas rigged senko rigged weightless so i tossed it out and dragged it across the top of the water fairly fast and before i know it i had caught a little bass....

  16. whhhhhat i didnt even know there was water still out there....my uncle lives in a small town right near there....next time i go out ill have to throw a line in.... oh yeah and i've never caught a 6 pounder

  19. that has happened to me in a local fly shop....instead of going and getting me more he tied them right their and gave em to me for free.....well hes got me coming back
  20. well i didnt have to do much convincing.....but i did get a job....i just told my dad if we had a boat we could fish so many more areas...and well thats about all it took....and im not rich or even close to it....im a budget basser myself but the ole jon is a good idea....

  22. traffic was low....one ski boat...and one fishing boat was all....but considering 4th of july is coming up i expect it will be packed....all the cabins were occupied and all the docks were full...just no one actually on the water...oh yeah i was at lone star ;D
  23. alright will do....cheaper to do now than later....oh and i out fished my dad ONCE again ;D 4-0 and another two that didnt make it to the boat so i guess they win this time...oh well let'em get bigger and catch em next time....peace
  24. haha thanks that sounds just like what the seller said....he changed the lube the day before we bought it from him so im good to go for awhile...oh and im leaving right now to go fishing ;D
  25. haha its okay i figured it out....it takes on about a shot glass full of water at the very beginning but after that it doesnt leak at all...kinda odd but its all good...just charged up the battery tonight so its ready for tomorrow ;D....if i get to take her out tomorrow :'(
