  1. I am considering looking for a trailer to haul my FS12T around on instead of putting it on top of my car and having to unload everything before/after loading it. I plan on having this trailer for a long time, especially because I will not allow myself to upgrade kayaks until I have one. I will be pulling it with my car, until I get a truck next year. KEep in mind that I have zero tools, live in the city, and will probably be storing it in a storage room. I'm thinking I should look for one that someone has already modified for kayaks. Just need some guidance on where to start, what to look for, ect... Thanks in advance guys.
  2. Finding the fish.
  3. I actually tried switching my spinning reel handle to the right side and reeling with my right hand for a while. I could not get the hang of it, had to go back to the handle on the left. And I reel baitcasters with my right hand.
  4. Casting and Creature. Havoc Pitboss FTW! T-rig that bad boy and pitch it at everything I can or work it deep like a jig. Then take the weight off and burn it on the top. Then hook it sideways and fishing it like a swim jig. Many options, but this is just my preference.
  5. What exactly did you use? I had a hard time trying to determine what kind of putty/duct seal I needed to get.
  6. Do you fill it with water, or stick it directly on the stuff?
  7. Thanks guys, I originally was going to use duct seal, but could not get my hands on any. I just want to compare it first and see how bad it is/isn't before I go through the trouble of taking it off and redoing it. If I need to, I will probably hold it over the side by hand and see what happens. but I do want to stay thru-hull, possibly a scupper mount.
  8. That's amazing!!! Hahaha
  9. Are there any numbers after the S11? And what lenses did you get? I will be fishing freshwater lakes for LMB stained-muddy water.
  10. It used to be a little sketchy for me, but I added handles and it has made a HUGE difference. Imagine this, I have a handle by the seat on either side of my kayak, and when I turn around to my right, I use my left hand to grab the handle on the right side while I turn around. It helps me feel secured and stable.
  11. That makes 2 of us. I really need to secure my seat, and put some bungee over my crate. I am just nervous because I am in/out of my crate so much.
  12. It's a great thing to have. It lightweight, bright as heck, lasts forever on the batteries, low drag in the wind, and the way it folds and gets put into the flag is great. I will never buy a different light/flag.
  13. I mounted mine through the hull of my kayak. I feel like the image is not near as clear and accurate as it should be. I understand that the hull may cause some interference, but it seems like a lot more than it should be. I used Marine Goop to mount it, and thought I had all of the air bubbles out. If you have this unit could you please let me know what ALL of your settings are on and take a few pictures of your screen the next time you're out so I can compare? Or possibly a good video showing your settings and sensitivity level and some screen time. Thanks in advance.
  14. What color lenses do you guys recommend?
  15. Looking for some polarized glasses in the $75 or less range. Any recommendations?

  17. For me it's the ever faithful protein bars and water. With some chew and gum mixed in. I did take some Rev's one time, and those were nice. But it eliminates a bottle of water from my cooler, which was a no no.
  18. The rage rig is fun to fish. Make sure you have good bottom contact though, if you don't it's a pain to fish correctly.
  19. What about the Zman elites? Are they worth the extra few dollars than the originals?
  20. This is a great shop, that I actually shop at. I can imagine it was a Megabass ad, not theirs.
  21. Nah, i'll pass. I would rather put that money towards an entire new tackle set haha. But then again, I don't use swimbaits anyways.
  22. I don't own a single chatterbait and really want to change that. I enjoy spinnerbait fishing, but want to try this for those extra weedy areas and on those tougher days when a large profile spinner won't work. I will be shopping at Academy and they only sell Zman. What colors, weights, and trailers should I get to cover the basics? Also should add that I know nothing about fishing them. Any tips would be appreciated. TIA
  23. Do yourself a favor and go buy a good scale. They are good to have anyways.
  24. When I try it the fluorocarbon likes to wrap around the braid sometimes. I assume it's because I have too much tension on my braid mainline. Anybody else experience this?
