  1. Noooo.....I am determined to find this thing. It is here somewhere dernnit.
  2. Well...War Eagle does at least have a black twin spin with gold blades.
  3. Just a mindless rant.... But dagnabbit, Im missing a swimjig. For the life of me I cant imagine how, when, where, or why this happened. All I did was take a box of gear to the garage to organize it. But whoops....hey....whered it go? Did I drop it somewhere? Cant be hard to see, its pink and white with a 4.8 keitech trailer. Grrrrrrr....You know its one thing If I lose a bait because of a fish...or because of a hang up...or even because of a faulty knot. I hate em all....but this...this is just driving me bonkers.
  4. Hmmm..I dont know. Thats a tough call.

Just with a 1/0 offset worm hook, and a split shot.

I gotta say, Im really liking these worms. Among other things, for me they just seem to be the ideal proportions, and will probably be my primary straight worm.
  9. Hah...the bucket brigade. I like that.
  10. Well then in that case, if we agree on it, it must be right. 12lbs it is.
  11. Agreed 100% Me personally, I would never spend $150 on a spinning reel...for bass fishing.
  12. I use Lews....Im highly pleased with it. one of the best values for the buck in my opinion.
  13. Came out to about 12lbs. wait....that doesnt sound right.
  14. Thats where I would throw a big weedless worm. Or maybe a Whopper Plopper;
  15. If you do fish at the bank, be very very careful, not to foul-hook one of the bank tellers. she will not be happy a'tall.
  16. Im going to have to kinda agree with you on that. Every situation is different, but Ive found no evidence so far in my areas, that suggests using a great deal of precaution will allow you to land more fish. Sure you can minimize it, but fish get spooked...thats just how it is, its in their nature, and at times, it is unavoidable. Just fish and be merry.
  17. I like to match the hatch, so I try to stick to wearing clothing that has neutral colors with baitfish printed on them.
  18. Hah....nah no prize. I just never had it weighed.
  19. Probably tiger trout, but likely looks different because of it being a juvenile fish.

10lb @ 22"??? Yeoww. I bet that thing swims just like them fat goldfish you see at the pet store with the bulging eyes.
  21. I didn't have a scale when I caught this one. What do you figure that this fish would've weighed in at? Length = 21 inches.
  22. Spinnerbait That should translate well for a trout fisherman.
  23. Bought a couple packs of VMC rugby jigs.
  24. Both....sometimes I'll even try vertical jigging it. That way, it buzzes as pull it up, then your plastic trailer goes inot action on the way back down. But, Ive only caught fish on them whilst in spinnerbait mode.
