Bps has their own bb1
Look at it then look at a bb1/bb1 pro. They look very similar to me(frame wise)

Bps has their own bb1
I guess my post wasn't very clear. I know they're made in the same place by the same people. I was just saying bps now has a reel nearly identical to the bb1. Bps is probably losing a lot of sales to the bb1 so they got their own version, made it better looking and priced it $20 cheaper to lure would be bb1 customers to their reel instead.

Bps has their own bb1
Just got done looking on bps' website and they have a new "signature " reel. Called the titanium 8. Looks to be on the same frame as the lews bb1. I guess this is their attempt at retaliation against lews. Looks BEAUTIFUL imo. I'm a sucker for titanium deposition finishes though

Difference Between Curado I And Citica I
The curado has anti-rust bearings compared to the citica. That and accent colors are the only differences I know of. And imo the svs is more trouble free than the vbs. I oil my svs system maybe once a month and I usually fish 20 days out of the month. Use a very thin oil like remoil and it will blow your mind as far as distance goes

Revo Stx Gen 3 Vs Curado I Vs Lews Bb1 Pro Speed Spool For Spinnerbait Fishing
I say curado. I haven't found another reel yet that is as smooth and powerful as it is.

Pistol Grip To Full?
Hey guys decided to fix up one of my grandpas rods that he gave me over the winter(lews speed stick 5'8" "best worm/lure driver") and I just can't get used to the pistol grip. Is there any way to put a full cork grip on it or should I leave it like it is? Thanks

Dobyns Champion Or Megabass Levante
Alright guys I decided to wait and not go "off brand".I have decided to try either a dobyns champion 704 or a megabass levante tour versatile. Anybody have any experience with both rods? I can get either one for $200 so price isn't a factor. Gonna use it as a general purpose rod.

Favorite Rod Brand?
Right now it would be Powell or irod for me

Shimano Vs Lews
Same thing with the crap clutches and brakes lews(doyo) uses. Well documented. I'd take a piece of rubber falling off over mechanical problems any day of the week

Shimano Vs Lews
Did I get it right quakenshake? Lol
-
Shimano Vs Lews
Typical lews stuff. Knobs peel, brakes turn themselves on, and level wind sticks.

Curado B Drive Shaft Replacement
Well I majorly screwed up this evening. I was cleaning my curado b and long story short I stripped the drive shaft out trying to tighten the handle nut. Anybody know if an E, l, or G series drive shaft would fit a B or do I need to try and find an original? Thanks

Wanting To Try An "off" Brand
Hey guys I'm wanting to get a new rod and thought about trying somthing different. I compared my irod gen2 and my Powell endurance and sadly I can't tell a difference in the sensitivity between the two. So I'm looking at getting a rod with sensitivity a step up from what I got. Willing to spend up to $250 on it. Some of the rods I've been looking at have been kistler klx, cashion, hammer, alx, or trying an irod air. I really like my irods so I'm not against getting another one. Anyone have experience with any of the rods I listed and can you compare it to an endurance, irod or duckett? Should I just stick with a big name like dobyns or st.croix? My main concern is sensitivity and balance. Thanks.
