Thoughts On Canoe Or Kayak
Very Good video on the Sports Pal! Very in depth review of it. The reviewer is also from Jersey so he talks about how useful to take it to all the little ponds and lakes

Frog Fishing Gear List
Well I hope the rods listed are just rods you have used and sold, not all the ones you have for frogging. Personally I think even more then 2 frogging rods is unnecessary. If I had a specific Frogging rod I would only have one but that's just me. Having over 30+ frogs is really obsessive in my opinion but, to each their own. This seems like more of a bragging thread to me than anything

Powell Inferno Vs Shimano Compre For Crankbaits
Can't decide between the inferno for cranking or the compre with TC4 construction. Price difference isn't much but just wondering if anybody has any experience with either and what they think of the rod.

Reel Cleaning Gone Wrong
Well upon taking it apart I realized that the ratchet wasn't flush with the pinion that was my first problem which messed up the drag. My second problem was caused because of that misalignment, the yoke and the gear in the yoke wouldn't sit flush . Also I greased the 2 pins for the yoke before so I took that grease off and put a dab of oil on each pin to see if it would help. Also The worm gear had way too much grease on it so I cleaned it again and just put some oil on it instead. Put it all back together and she's all good now!

There is no names under the jigs in those pictures. Is the list when selection jigs in order from first picture to last picture. It's hard to telling which jig goes with which name.

Reel Cleaning Gone Wrong
Okay I figured I needed drag specific grease but I read places that Reel Butter would be okay for it. I printed off a schematic so I know all the parts are there but I will take it apart again oil the worm gear instead of grease it and will run the drag dry and get back to you on how it is.

Reel Cleaning Gone Wrong
So not too long ago I bought a used Revo S Gen 3 on the forums here. It being used I figured it could use a good cleaning so I bought The ardent Cleaning kit and followed tacklejunkie81's tutorial on youtube. It seemed simple enough to me and for the most part I have no problem with tearing things apart then reassembling. I stripped it all the way down and began cleaning the gunk out and soaking the bearings, gears, washers etc in the Ardent Cleaner. I then began reassembling after it dried and oiled bearings and greased gears(worm gear, main gear etc.) I used the reel butter as my grease for everything. I also soaked the drag washers, dried them and applied grease to them reassemblying with greasing. Once I began putting on the drag star near the end of reassembly it wasn't making the clicks like it usually does when tightening the drag and my thumb bar seemed to be jammed and you couldn't push it down. When I took off the side plates again I noticed that when I pushed the thumb bar it pushed the main gear up tilting it on an angle but when holding the main gear in place like it would be when fully assembled the two gears would not slide together(the smaller gear that is supposed to slide up and down). Does anybody have any suggestions on what I should do or what I did wrong?

Hey You Canadian Fishers!
I am located in the Hamilton area so Fishing World is right in my backyard, I am just away for the next few months so I won't be able to check it out until Late May/early June. Living in Ottawa at the moment so I'm looking for places in this area as well.

Hey You Canadian Fishers!
I have been looking to get a new rod or 2 for the season. The only sites I really know are Bass Pro shop which doesn't have very good selection, Cabelas which seems to have little selection and high prices and Tackle Warehouse which is good on prices and good selection but I think they have high shipping costs/ brokerage fees. Where do all you fellow Canadian fishers usually purchase your new gear and if it's from the states how is the shipping fees and brokerage charges?

What Brand Is This?
I was searching through some bass fishing articles and came across this jig and trailer and really want to know what brand they both are( The Chunk looks like Big Bite Bait chunks but I can't find any of them in this colour). If anyone has some information that would really help me out as I am looking to get into jig fishing and these colours look perfect for the lake I plan on fishing.
