Looking To Pick Up A New White Buzz Bait And Maybe A Double Buzz Bait
I am gonna pick up some cavitrons for next season, what do you think of the black with red blade?

Lews Lfs Or Orra Sx
I have the new orra and the old model lews (ss1h) and I still like the ss1h better so I assume the LFS will be even better. I am gonna get an LFS before the season. The orra just seems clunky to me aka not as smooth.

What's The Chances Of A Kill-Off?
I believe oxygen and depth are key for the killoffs (if i remember correctly) but for the size and depth of the lake I don't see any reason for a kill especially if it is river fed. Could be simple natural population fluctuation or since fish can be grouped so tightly in the winter if you aren't on them you can have a bad day. now if it was a 3 acre pond with a max depth of 6 feet then you might have to worry about a kill being that far north.

Submerged Grass
good old weightless wacky senko is awesome for that.

Submerged Grass
For me I observe the grass and make sure what the layout is. I will not punch some grass because what you can be doing is just burying your lure into thick grass and essentially keeping it out of the strike zone. Now if the grass isn't super thick and has holes/canopies I will certainly punch it. Any submerged grass I have to run a spinner-bait ticking over the weeds absolutely deadly.

Lews Lfs Or Orra Sx
The orra is heavier by the way just by a little.

Bed Fishing: Friend Or Foe
In my opinion I think this comes down to an issue of perceived impact vs actual impact. If I am not mistaken, the 5 bass limit that is enforced on most fisheries is implemented based on data from population models. Hypothetically, lets say I went out last year then caught and harvested (kept and ate) 5 bass all year, or 10, or 30, or 50. There is a good chance that regardless of whether I harvested 0 or 50 yearly the population model would be unchanged or if it had changed, it would be hard to correlate my harvesting to the actual change. I remove a female from a bed, she dies, whoops. Another female swoops in on that nest and deposited into 4 nests instead of 3 because there was another available. I harvested 100 bass, more fry survive on the next spawn. We have a BR tournament we remove 200 bass from beds, meanwhile 10,000 other bass are still on their beds untouched. Nature has a way of course correcting and as long as something isn't extremely excessive, the actual impact is likely negligible. Now that that has been said, removing 200 bass from beds with only 400 bass in the lake, sure you might encounter a problem.

Fishing On A Budget
Honestly I have used "cheaper" brands and have really liked some of them like gander mountain stuff (they have a lot of types of soft plastics) even though the selection can be slim at certain stores. Its soft plastics are actually similar to yum in my opinion and have nice scent. The key to their value is that for the same price you can get 1.5 to 2 times the number of baits. Berkley havoc is name brand and also budget which is awesome. BPS has some good store brand baits. Best way is to just try some of them and see. For example: gander mountain 4'' finesse worm - $3.99 for 20 ct gander mountain 5'' trick stick worm - $9.99 for 40 ct they have a good color selection online at least and really good reviews. The key is understanding that though not the price/"quality" of some higher end baits, some brands are more than sufficient for your needs. I have used yamamoto senkos because my dad has some, not only were different brands of stick worms cheaper and sufficient, I honestly preferred them.

New Storm Series " Roadwarrior "
What is the appeal of the rubber portion of some of these skirts? (what does it do differently?)
-
Favorite Jig ?
the boss skirts are awesome, high quality, so many color options and cheap for being a non-slip rattle band. I did wish they offered some more lighter colors like different whites/shads but still great.

Fishing On A Budget
like others mentioned, store brands (like gander mountain senko imitations), Berkeley havoc, big bite baits are some of the cheapest and can cover most of what you need.

New Storm Series " Roadwarrior "
I love the new big pictures, helps so much.

Attachment To Prevent Snags
hmmm... I am a bit confused at the concept. If that is placed ahead of the bait, what stops the mechanism itself from catching weeds?

Trolling:banned For Bass. Why.
I also feel that if trolling was "the best thing to do" on certain lakes, there would be issues of unique water. Since trolling can cover so much water during a day a 100+ boat tournament on a smaller lake (especially one with hot areas) multiple anglers could potentially be fishing the same exact routes/waypoints or covering the same relative area which I could see causing issues or at the least make it pretty boring for the viewers.

Explain This Skirt, Pls.
I would probably use it for stained/muddy as well but would not hesitate what so ever to use it in clear water as well. Good all-purpose color.

Bladed Jigs
my experience with zman's has been not good but over time they have upgraded their chatters with better hooks/skirts, but for the price I feel like you are paying a little extra for the "zman" name, and for the money or a little more I'd rather go with a different brand or homemade. I liked the SK rageblade, the whotech crazy jig, and I really liked pepper custom baits jig (Fred Roumbanis' design). For extreme cover/weeds you cant beat the crazy jig, the pepper customs jig is awesome for open water and rocky areas.
