Terminator T1

Very good.  One of my favorite if not my favorite spinerbaits since the day they came out.  You get the vibration and collapsibility of an ultra light wire with the snap back resilience that even heavy gauge wire cannot match and that is the 'best of both worlds' by definition.  Their Oklahoma blades are pretty awesome too.

I have about 100 Terminators . Only spinnerbait I use .  Bugchunk  is  right, every once in a while a blade will just  be gone. Don't know why, just live with it. They never need an adjustment.

Every one I've ever owned got the main blade tossed when a fish jumped. Good baits otherwise but it's a hard problem to correct because it's so hard to bend titanium.

Well, let me indulge further. Is it worth getting the standard model or the one with the power pulse quick skirts?

Either are great. Do yourself a favor and buy a few extra packs of skirts when you get them so you don't need to buy extra spinnerbaits. They'll let you quickly change colors. Also as Torque Converter said, the Oklahoma blades are worth the look.

The Oklahoma blade bait is one of my personal favorites. Good baits... Although they can be a little pricey...

exactly this right here

i have about a 50/50 mix of these and war eagles.  i really like the t1s.  you can feel the vibration really well and never have to worry about bending the wire or tuning the baits.  they are pricey, but if i ever find them on sale i buy them NO MATTER WHAT COLOR HEAD OR SKIRT.  then i use WIGuide's philosophy and change out the skirts in seconds.  i have about 10-12 skirts in the spinnerbait box.  if you have a few different weight/blade combos plus the skirts you essentially have a ton of interchangeable spinnerbaits.  it can actually be cost effective in the long run so long as you don't lose too many.

and i actually forgot to mention that the power pulse skirts are more or less interchangeable with all of my spinnerbaits so that is pretty sweet.  they are pretty durable as well.

Terminator baits will take beating and keep on catching fish day in and day out.

Best spinnerbait out there in my opinion.

Their spinnerbaits are great, and are pretty much all I throw. I love that they last forever.

Their buzzbaits are absolutely terrible. I bought 4 of them before last season because I always liked their Spinnerbaits. All 4 of them don't run true and cannot get any of them tuned to run properly.

I like them. Although i'm not really a fan of the new willow beveled edge blade design. It's a little over sized and gives too much lift imo.  I really like the discontinued SS style they sold in the black/orange packaging. In fact, I stocked up on them bc i knew they were being discontinued. But YES T1s are good spinnerbaits.

The only spinnerbaits I ever owned that had the wire break. I used to fish for northerns quite a bit and the titanium wires would snap from those crazy pike.

Are they worth the 10.49 per? I'm kinda afraid to spend the money seeing as I've thrown them under every condition and never caught anything over a pound.

guess it depends on how much $ you can apply towards fishing.....

i've picked mine up on sales between $4 and $6 each and for that price, i like them.  for full price, they are good, but likely wouldn't get me to cough up the $11 each

I'm not a fan of the terminator twin spins. The titanium is to flimsy and like people say the blades or a blade will come off. But I've never had a problem with the standard terminator spinnerbait.

The T1 is a good bait - but as previously mentioned here - they are subject to "Mystery Blade loss"

The reason is because they are plagued by something that almost every spinner bait on the market has as well; the split rings used to connect the blades to the swivel / swivel to the wire are simple too thin, too weak and too cheap.

Does little good if a bait is offered with a "quality" ball bearing swivel if the split ring is bogus.

I fish a ton of blade baits at night, and the fish often hit the blade and not the body. A 4 or 5 pound smallie will rip the blade off a bait at night in a heart beat.  Before I figured it out I was loosing blades in whole sale fashion.  It was not unusual to come home from a night of spinner bait fishing with 10 bladeless baits.  Really bummed me out. Well, I still use spinner baits at night but by upgrading the split rings I have all but eliminated the blade loss.

The Strike King Hack Attack Heavy Cover Spinnerbait has a very stout wire and excellent hook and is my bait of choice for night ops - I still change out the rings.  btw -  Oklahoma blades rule at night.
