I'd recommend the Berkley Lightning shock rods, I've been seriously impressed with mine. Absolutely 0 complaints and I've had it for like 2 years now. It's performed just like some of my more expensive ones.

Good stuff! In the small trucks department, I like the new tacomas but the Colorado's don't look half bad either.

I need to gain confidence in jerkbaits and crankbaits.

I prefer to distinguish between "slow" fishing and "fast" fishing, of which I usually am engaged in the first.

Perhap's you're obsessing a little too much over this dilemna. I love me some droopy rage craws, you can even send me yours if you don't like them. I use them all the time and they're the most effective droopy bait I've ever come across.

I would either fish a dropshot, shakeyhead, or football jig.

I ran in to this last night; I was fishing a bulky jig with a big rage craw and swung as soon as I felt the bite, but didn't peg either of the two fish that bit. I switched to a little baby Booyah jig with a bit-off trick worm and was able to land one on that.

That red-eye shad in that exact color is one of my confidence baits. I've caught a lot of bass on it.

My personal best LMB is 7.12: didn't get a pic. Here are a few of my bigger bass. All around 5-6 pounds. And, my PB smallmouth didn't deserve a weight. I've only caught a couple lmao
