Table Rock A-Rigs
The only reason a lot of people are saying they wouldn't throw the A-rig around April is because it's generally a winter and summer thing around here to target suspended fish. At least that's what I've gotten out of it. I really don't throw the A-Rig too much. You can still catch fish on the A-Rig in April, but I personally would just throw it in staging areas for some prespawn fish (if there is still some in prespawn). I'd defintiely pick up a wiggle wart or two in a crawdad pattern and some jewel eakins finesse jigs with a twin tail trailer though, but both those swimbaits are good. The yum money minnow skips wonderfully with a 3/16 oz weight. I wouldn't go to Table Rock thinking I was gonna catch a trophy. I'd expect a good 14-16 lb best 5 with maybe a good one thrown in. Lots of 2-3 lb fish and there are definitely some big ones too, but I'd just go there expecting to catch a lot of fish.

Some Of The Crankbaits I Finnished This Week
That firetiger looks sick. I dig the black and blue as well.

After Much Casting, I Must Say, The Price You Pay Is Not = To The Lure You Get Many Times
Hard to answer. For some baits, I personally think it is. I'll pay for a vision 110 and not bat an eye, but a wiggle wart is much cheaper and I've bought a lot of those as well. If they catch fish, and if I there is something about them that appeals to where I fish along, yeah I'll spend the extra money. Bottom line is if they catch fish, people will pay the extra money. It's proved to be an excellent marketing technique if companies like Megabass or LuckyCraft have found a good method to produce these fish catching machines at a fair cost for themselves.

Powder Coated Jig Heads Always Desirable?
As far as I know, it's purely aesthetic. I have wondered about the sound it makes since I just started making my own. In my opinion I don't see it mattering much though.

Small Swimbaits / Underspins
^^^^What he said. As far as feeling bites, crankbait rods are not your best bet. A medium power fast action rod will do just fine.

Deep Diving Jerkbaits
The megabass 110+1 is the only "deep diving jerkbait" I have found to still have a good action at deeper depths.

Soft Plastic With Legs Together.
I don't know how much it really matters, but I always tear them apart as well

Debunked Fishing Myths
All bass go deep in the winter. The bass in my avatar was caught in two feet of water on a cold December day with water temps in the high 40's. Also using small lures for smallmouths is something I've found to not be true.

Small Swimbaits / Underspins
I stick to translucent and white colors. I like a little blue flake in there too. Ask people that fish where you fish.

Prefered Weight T- Rigs/ Jigs
I read the title of the topic and thought "Oh look another question with a thousand variables" lol. Then I seen where you specified. Thank you for that. However, it still depends I guess. For fishing light cover or rock in 1-5ft I like 3/8 oz and 6-10ft I like 1/2 oz. I'll mix it up though. Sometimes I'll throw a 3/4 oz at any depth If I get bit shallow with it. I can cover more water this way. Edit: My above comment is from the boat. If I'm fishing from shore, I'll throw nothing heavier than a 3/8 oz for jigs and 1/4 oz for t rigs.

Best And Worst (Hardest) State To Fish?
But what about that dude on the Bass College (I think it's called that) on Youtube? He tears it up in Delaware.

Winter Pond
Small swimbaits fished with as light of weight as you think you can get away with along the banks or tight to whatever cover there is. Fish the same stuff as always but in winter you really got to put your bait in front of their face.

Best And Worst (Hardest) State To Fish?
To me, it seems like California has it the best as far as a variety of lakes to fish with giant bass in them. Although there is a lot of fishing pressure, your chances of hooking into a big one on any technique possible is definitely increased there. As far as worst states, it's hard to say, but any that get extremely cold or don't put a lot of money into their fisheries would definitely be tough.

Your Favorite Technique This Past Season
Mine has to have been the swim jig. Whether it's been with a regular trailer or even a spinnerbait blade on the back, this has been my most productive technique. I'd say mostly due to the fact I've been fishing lots of shallow grass since I moved away from the White River chain of lakes (not a blade of grass) to a little farther down south.

How Do You Handle Noise From Your Boat?
Fish holding tight to cover don't seem to mind noise as much as fish that are suspended. Long casts also help. You won't see me hucking rocks in the water, but I don't really care that much about noise because it's pretty much inevitable. It seems to me it would depend on where you're fishing though. If your lake gets lots of boat traffic, I would say most of the fish are about used to the noise. Also conditions. When it's windy I wouldn't consider noise near as much as if it was slick and calm

Higher End Shimano Or Lew's?
Yeah. My mistake. I should have said the first one I remember coming out. The E series is the one I was using for the comparison.
-
Higher End Shimano Or Lew's?
I've never tried the higher end Lews. The most expensive Shimano baitcaster I've ever owned was the Curado E. I have owned the first Citica that came out and a Lew's in the same price range. I wore them both out but the Citica took much longer.
