I have fished the Cabelas ZX Tournament for several months. I have a frog rod 7'3" and the swimbait rod 7"9". I like them both. They both cast great and feel light in my hands. On the swimbait I have a BPS Pro Qualifier with 20 lb braid and the frog rod has a Skeet Reese Victory 701 with 50 lb braid. Planning on using the Emotions with a BPS Slinger with 50 lb braid with a alabamba rig and flipping this weekend.

Yes, I thought the price was reasonable, like the feel of the rod. Academy also had various Castaway brand rods on clearance..

I'm using Skeet Reese casting and spinning rods, BPS Bionic Blades and Crankin Stick and Tourney Specials, Cabelas ZX Tournament and ProGuide, and just bought a Berkley Emotions rod. Fished all summer with various setups but haven't started weeding them out. Nothing under 7' except a UL spinning setup.

Was at Academy this weekend looking for a casting rods for Alabama rigs. On their website they showed a Skeet Reese casting rod. Didn't find that brand but found a Berkley Emotions Punching rod, it's 7'6" XH fast tip with micro guides. Has anyone else tried these rods out?
