Small Water "structure"
Considered to be "cover" not "structure"

Small Water "structure"
This is some of my favorite "structure" to fish on my small, creek fed body of water. Other than that I fish different bottom compositions, and then parallel to the bank. If your BOW doesn't contain a change in bottom contour or composition, then your best bet in terms of structure is the shoreline.

Milfoil Responsibility ?
Same her. Don't really think milfoil is an invasive problem...

Closest Thing To A Senko?
I'm interested in trying that and the Money Maker. Pretty cheap, just need to find a color I like to start. How fast does it fall weightless wacky?

Closest Thing To A Senko?
I know, I know, another Senko thread... I've read the arguments between different brands of plastics, but what "other" stick bait, do you find to be most comparable to the Yamamoto Yamasenko in action, fall rate, and pliability/softness of plastic? I'm just curious of your thoughts. I use lots of different plastics, and am up to try anything.

Lews Vs. Shimano
Honey Creek Tackle in Bargersville selling them out for that price... Or were.

Lews Vs. Shimano
Shimano isn't very good about getting parts to older model reels either really. Daiwa is the best as far as that department is concerned.

Bucket Fishing?
Call me out if you wish, I was simply stating an observation I made at a particular pier on lake Michigan. Now please, continue to castigate me for sharing this observation. I apologize if you or anyone else.

Northeast Indiana
Welcome fellow Hoosier, plenty of us on these forums. I live in the central part of the state, my boss grew up in Warsaw.

I'm also wondering this. What price will the Mojo be at? If I can get my hands on one at Christmas time I may buy one for dad.

Bucket Fishing?
Not trying to be a racist. Just seems to me like all the white guys seemed to be catching and releasing. I just don't care for that type of fishing I guess.

Pork Or Plastic?
Do you use pork or plastic in the summer? Fall? Winter? Spring? If you had to choose one or the other to fish all the time as a jig trailer, which would you choose? I'm strictly talking chunk shaped baits.... Thanks, Hoosier

Sorry, But Here We Go...
Denser it is, better it will cast. That's why small, heavy, lipless baits cast like bullets

How To Avoid The Bait Monkey
I play disc golf frequently as well. I just use a single distance driver, and then buy a new one when the woods eats it... Lol

Yamamoto Products
My thing is, I seem to catch more fish with scented baits, Berkley being A number 1. I grabbed a pack of Yamamoto Senkos of the rack yesterday, because they were on sale, opened the bag, and they smell heavily of plastic, just like Zoom. Can't see myself paying that much for unscented baits...

Check Your Local Gander Mt.
5" Papa Pit Bosses are $1.97 at my Gander Mt store. Good deal if you like em. Also scored an XCS 300 (which I've never seen for 4 bones)

Bucket Fishing?
1,000 bucks is quite a bit. At that, point, what's the point if you have the possibility of getting fined that much! Went to lake Michigan over the weekend, talked to a guy who was catching and releasing sheephead and walleye, on a blasebait. He caught a couple, not a lot... Then I see a group of Latinos, surf rods and live bait in hand, w/a stringer (yuck) full of sheephead and catfish. They had to have been way over there limit. Makes me sick

Official Bank Walkers Topic!
Finally got out and walked the banks again this morning. Scraped out 5 fish in 2 and a half hours. Two biggest were around 3 lbs or so. Pics are upside down, I'll upload tomorrow.

I'm interested to see what Berkley has to offer with their new line of hardbaits. I liked the Frenzy lineup, and Berkley has just been making really good stuff, for a really long time, but especially now.

Top Hot Summer Lure
Buy yourself an XPS Slim Dog, and walk it over/around sparse grass. Where there is grass there is bass!

Buzzbait Modifications?
Yep, this is about it.

Bucket Fishing?
Very true, never been into hunting. I just never really had the desire to go out and kill stuff... Also never had a taste for "gamey" meats....

Bucket Fishing?
Right, and that's not the mentality we need anymore. Back in the great depression, maybe it was a good, valid mentality, but now we do it for fun. For relaxing. To be with family and friends, its more than just frying it up.
