  1. Putting line on a spinning rig for finesse fishing. Rod will be a 6'6"-7' medium rod for all purpose finesse (Weightless Texposed Sticks, Light Weight Texas Sticks, Weightless Wacky, Weighted Waky, Dropshot, and Shaky Head Worm). Would you recommend putting 7# Sniper or 20# Braid on this rig? I will be using it in a small creek, as well as from a kayak on a larger body of water, and from the bank on small reservoirs. Thanks!
  2. Gatorade for Hydration, as well as Carbs for energy. Beef Jerky offers Protein to stay satiated.
  3. Hopefully I can find someone around here who carries them so I can at least hold one before I pull the trigger
  4. You MUST have Rage Craws to fill the void inside of you!
  5. Nice fish! What's your swimbait setup?
  6. By that logic, that fish would way 9.86 lbs.
  7. I thought KG were more than a lb. So it would be less?
  8. Its all about the brand image you want to portray. I don't think Chick-Fil-A wants to sponsor anybody with Tatoos, because that is not the brand image that they want.
  9. You need the Bait Monkey in your life.
  10. PIGS. And the best time of your life.
  11. Would you rather live in Alaska? I enjoy 100* + Florida heat over winter any day. Humidity is the killer. But id much rather be in Arizona were its 110* daily (granted freezing at night) and dry. Just stay hydrated.
  12. Tournaments end because the Spring is the best fishing for entertaining tourneys. They fished Toho in February, full moon, spawn is on, it was a special event. Giants. JT Kenney caught an 11+ in pre fishing. Lots of tourneys are in the south, meaning the spring is over relatively early compared to the north. I don't stop fishing until early December. I love fishing in the summer, especially with frogs at night. This is when the fishing heats up because in Indy, the bass' metabolic rate is fairly high. Big bass looking for big meals in the thick stuff. Also, my PB was caught late November. The shad movements in the fall create amazing fishing.
  13. ICast coverage by Bassmaster confirms this. Simply a different name for the same bait. Trying to create a "new bait" w/out actually making a new bait or redesigning an old one.
  14. It would be durable as it is ElazeTevh, but I don't know if it would have the same action as other Rage Tail baits as it is made of different plastic. Maybe Big-O could answer this?
  15. Daiwa Tatula $89 at American Legacy Fishing. I would put 12# Trilene XL on it
  16. This is a good logical point. You want to outperform your heroes from when you were a kid. Ex. Michael Phelps vs. Mark Spitz. Ex. Lee brothers vs. KVD Ex. Andrew Luck vs Peyton manning. List goes on and on.
  17. Sexy! You guys need to stop posting this stuff! You're gonna make me go broke!
  18. Ok, I've just always used cork handles rods. I'll have to see if I can get my hands on one before I pull the trigger online. Thanks for the advice!
  19. This also, I don't think id want 17# on a spinning reel.
  20. BPS tungsten is 20% off through Sunday. Hootie highly recommends cheapsinkers.com
  21. XPS lures are solid lures for the price. Harbaits and plastics both. I would look into some of them if I were you. The only time I've brought myself to buy more expensive brands is when I catch a sale. But I can tell you that I've caught plenty of fish on XPS lures, and have more expensive lures that don't catch fish. Lucky Craft makes solid baits, their Jerkbais are especially popular, but when it comes to something like a topwater or soft plastic, I do just fine with XPS.
  22. Berkley's Pitbull looks interesting. I like Berkley products, and Squarebills, so of they have colors to my liking, I will be looking to get my hands on those.
