  1. One more question... Is their a Rigid Industries marine light I could mount on a Yak? I was looking to fish after dark and was thinking they would help... If not, another brand? Does anybody mount lights on their yak?
  2. I have 5 Berkley rods and have not had a single problem with them ever.
  3. What are your guys thoughts about Power Pole Micro anchors for yaks? They are expensive but seem like they are also a great tool, easy, and convenient.
  4. It was a member of the "Frenzy" series along with a Lipless Crank, Popping Frog, Walking Bait, Swimbait, and Small Crank
  5. I'm not denying that it catches fish... But the Shroomz TRD is marketing hype. "Have you tried the need rig?" Is on every ZMan package I see in my local shops. It can be any standing open hook jig head with any small floating worm is my point. And Midwest finesse is a lot deeper than that.
  6. The ned rig is a marketing ploy. Midwest finesse is an entire style of fishing, which uses different approaches, one being a round headed jig that stands straight up and a floating worm
  7. Does anybody here have experience with the iON cameras? They seem interesting, and are less expensive than GoPro cameras. Debating on which ones I should get...
  8. I cast my Spinnerbaits just like I cast everything else, whatever gets it accurately to the area I want it to get to. I've never had trouble casting Spinnerbaits overhand, underhand, pitching, or any other type of casting. What is your Spinnerbait setup?
  9. Serious question, not trying to contest you in any way... But what about algae blooms? Don't they reduce oxygen and are generally bad for waters unlike coontail/milfoil ECT?
  10. Really shouldn't be that hard. Just like doing a ****** or Squat Clean into an Overhead Press in the weight room...
  11. I might honestly implement some of these into my approach. Never thought of using a RoboWorm for shakey head fishing.
  12. I stand corrected. Looked it up and I made a misstatement.
  13. They only follow one angler or two anglers that are travel partners the whole season. Great show. Really enjoyed watching season 2 even if JT Kenney didn't do so great.
  14. I've never used any of these rods, so I can't really help you out, but you must really like whoever you are buying them for if your getting em that!
  15. The Havoc "Change Up" does look interesting. Justin Lucas posted a picture of it the other day. It says Chatterbaits as the intended use, but their was some other secondary uses... But I could be wrong too!
  16. You are right on All Star. If you can still find some that were made in Texas, then buy them! They still are a decent brand... Just not everywhere anymore... Seems like they are an Academy thing now.
  17. Its all personal taste. Depends on how you like to fish spinnerbaits. I really like to roll cast spinnerbaits up under docks.. Its one of my favorite things... So I go with a shorter rod.. I also use a MH so I have the power to set a single hook.. I lil a more moderate action for my moving baits as well. I don't think you necessarily need a technique specific, but I don't see another combo that would serve double duty except for maybe a squarebill outfit. I also think a lot of 'Technique specific' rods are misnomers. Today i saw a 'jig and worm' Mojo Bass that was 6'6". For me, I would never fish a jig /worm on something shorter than 7' bit that's just me.
  18. My suggestion would be to go to a little shorter rod. Distance, especially when flipping, will suffer. Pitching I usually would go for a shorter rod anyways. But when flipping you can only get about the length of the rod's worth of line out so the above post on distance suffering is correct.
  19. I'm pretty sure that Sebile and Pure Fishing have been involved for awhile. In-Fisherman TV is sponsored by Pure Fishing and have been using Sebile for quite some time.
  20. Sell them and buy lipless baits. Rip em through that grass with braid. Bam, new confidence bait!
  21. Did they say that the Bladed jig rod would be glass or graphite? I was listening to Brett Hite talk about how he fishes them with a glass rod and it was pretty interesting.
  22. Watching videos online, tournament coverage, and his TV show One More Cast, I always see Shaw Grigsby with some kinda cover on his rod butt... Does anybody know what it is and why he uses it? Does it offer any advantage? Thanks, Jakob
