  1. $150 of tubes and tube hooks lol
  2. They are nice but many people are mad that they removed the anti reverse lever now
  3. I have two St croix avids for dropshot. 6'9" mlxf and a 7'6 mlxf. Like said , use what feels right to you. I prefer the 6'9" over the the longer rod because it seems way to light and I cant feel them bite as good. I know people that swear by using a heavier rod, you can feel them bite better. The Xfast tip lets you "wiggle" or "twitch " the bait better than a fast. I dont feel that the tip affects the ripping out that much. I lose very few on dropshots and I am not exactly gentle with them either. I want to try a Mxf this coming year to see how that feels. I was gonna sell my 7"6 but instead started using it for spybaits
  4. last year I caught a largemouth on a tube. I removed the tube and tossed it over the side then released the fish. LOL he saw the tube hanging there and ate it again

  10. I thought I was using a avid 7mm for a year for dt10's. But after I ordered a mhm avid x I figured out that I didn't have a MM and already had a MHM. The mhm seems pretty light but works great
  11. On st Clair I mainly use a st. Croix avid MLF for 1/4oz tubes .
  12. Not sure about dobyns but on a 7'6" mlxf you can cast them a mile lol
  13. More money but 685cb lists most of those http://dobynsrods.com/rod/685cb/
  14. nice. Was out there today and caught a ton
  15. tubes, crankbaits and dropshot.
  16. I have both. Use 70mlf for 1/8-1/4 tubes and the 69mlxf for drop shot
  17. I hate that. Went to get some 832 and look at the mojo rods and the titanium 8. Had like 2 rods, no 832. I looked at the reel but it seemed rather big
  18. Ive had sahara's, sedona's and spirex's do it on warm humid days so badly that they are pretty much unuseable.
  19. fish dont care! Cass lake. Biggest inland lake in my county, Spring tournament two younger guys smoked everyone in a little row boat with a cooler rigged as a livewell. 1 Fished while the other bailed lol. Then the last tournament of the season two guys had a flat bottom bass tracker that blew the engine at some point so they removed it. Again, they smoked all the 50k+ boats
  20. I have a 7mm avid I use for up to 10ft. I adont have a premier 7mm but have a MF. The avid it self is much lighter. And has better cork. Avid mm seems more like a ml to me but works great . I did hold a premier mm at bass pro a couple days ago. Like the avid better
  21. i'm all screwed up lol. I'm right handed and reel both with my right hand
