  1. Take a few home and have a nice meal
  2. Keitech swimbait... Spinnetbaits...duo pencils... Sammy's...Rico popper...
  3. Kvd 1.5 silent square bill in bluegill.
  4. Aloe with ladocane and a fan will be your best friend for the next few days! I am Irish and German so I had the same problem years ago. Now its long sleeve shirts and full brim hats for me.
  5. Depending on the bite time of year and water downsized lures are the answer
  6. Sounds like crankbait heaven. Bring on the squarebills!!!
  7. Look up hedge hog customs. Cool parts for all reels
  8. Uni or fishen fool work just fine
  9. Moving baits is such a broad category. Single hook baits like spinner swimjig and the like work well on braid because the lack of stretch helps drive the hook. Treble hook baits are best on copoly IMO. Some love braid for everything, I believe its the right tool some of the time.
  10. You may want to rig up an anchor system that you can drop or set when a big fish is on. Over 4lbs the fish will take you where they want to go and your just along for the ride!!!
  11. 702 Dobyns champion spinning works just fine for me.
  12. A jig or hollow body frog. You will need a MH or heavy rod for both. They are as weedless as it gets.
  13. The hook set from a seated position on or in a yak is generally not powerful. Its part of the price we pay in the smaller craft. Keep your hooks sharp and hit them as hard as you can. Even in a big boat or on land frog lures don't get a good set.
  14. So this is a huge move so I hate to piecemill you. I have and love the champ 764 randy cranking rod and its a special rod. Short the larger cranks like the Norman dd22 and larger its great. The randy 805 works for the larger baits but I don't use those and don't have that rod. Gary helped me out on this rod and I am so happy I called.
  15. I catch a lot of fish up north on 6 lb floro. The lightest line that can do the job is the best answer.
  16. The plano are better
  17. Love my taco. This one is my new girl.
  18. They built s name on the red boxes and there pimp. The second coming is not near as good. The waterproof plano boxes are better
  19. Weedless rigged swing impact or easy shiner from keitech. Throw it like a worm then swim it back. 4" work the best for me.
  20. If you want a yak then a sot will make life a lot nicer. I roll a classic nucanoe because of my ability to reconfigure for different trips and from one or two people. Mine is 12' and works a lit better for two then the 10'. The new frontier has better options for sonar. Hobbies make some great rides but out of my budget. A Jon is great but you will have a motor trailer batteries and a lot more hastle.
  21. Cranks work best bouncing off stuff. The hit triggers the strike. Holes are not great but points shelf's and humps are money.
  22. Solid performance can be found in the daiwa htsa or htsl. There sold cheap on fleabay and are tough as nails. It was my first baitcaster and I still use two of them. I hammer mine on a frog and spinnerbait rods.
  23. Spinning I would go certate. Have one and its great.
  24. Not expensive relative to what a car? What do you want to spend and what do you defign as good.
