  1. I like my ac66mf for square bill and jerk bait fishing. I love my LEC70MHF for jigs and light punching. I own many more but these are my favorites!
  2. Length of run matters and amp draw. I go one size larger than recommend. That's just me. 6 should be fine!
  3. I will give it a shot but looking for the active topics button
  4. SK 1.5 square bill in bluegill Rapala shadrap 7 in olive shad Little john MD in cellmate Little john MD in chartreuse black back Sk 5xd in bluegill
  5. Lived here in west was and biggessst I gave seen or caught is 4lbs. Had three that size and a few three pounders. Seems the bass density is lower than some other areas I have lived in.
  6. I is not hard to say, but I am a huge duo baits fan. I don't fish a lot of swimbaits but their new glide bait is sick. The color and detail on the brown trout is amazing and I hope they have this pattern on some of their other baits.
  7. I do not like it. I used the elite and had handling issues. Invesx is great on spinning reels. Others to try are p line 100% and sniper. I have and use both, both are very good.
  8. I want a g3 aluminum boat. A few models would be good for both.
  9. I fish Croix legend series and i never felt underpowered until I started punching. 3/4 and over weights with plastic and 5/0 flipping hooks require a heavy rod. I just stopped trying to punch and stick with my my rods. If I move south I will have to bite the heavy bullet.
  10. They need to feed them a balanced pellet food like hilari but i don't think many people know or say anything so it will continue until people speak up.
  11. I like to start small and then upsize if I get interest. The shiners get bigger if you find they work for you. I have not used them there but I will or would try ayu first.
  12. I grew up fishing that River. Most of it is very swift. You may do a lot better with small swimbaits. I would try a small 3-4 inch keitech easy shiner on a heavy head or the robot worms shiner on a drop shot.
  13. Hair jigs jerkbaits rattle traps
  14. It is a little sad how low of density bass we have on the kitsap penensula. I just came from CT where you can find bass everywhere.
  15. I fish a flexlight daiwa steez in 7' medium. Find one used and you will love the rod. The Phoenix x10 also compares well and I would like to try one.
  16. call pick a river every time but there's no bass in Washington rivers. I fish lakes here because that's where the bass are. Connecticut the rivers had everything including striper and were way better
  17. They have a cool diving swimbait that I want in their euro line
  18. Depends on your cover. I use a st Croix 66mf for all square bills and jerks. I run traps on mhf rods usually 7'.
  19. Basic training like CPR and first aid taught by the red cross is better than anything you can bring. The training and equipment together is a real resource.
  20. I carry side cutters if your fishing with large heavy hooks bring a better more robust pair. Consider cutting the split ring if its bad.
  21. St Croix legend mlxf.
  22. If your looking for a great medium to light weight reel i just got a left handed alphas SV from japan off the auction sight for a bout two hundered bucks. Its a great little reel and reviews abound. I am partial to st croix and the avid or avid x is a great choice. Used versions can be had but i would get used rods localy unless you are getting it from a forum like this one or TT. The auction site has to many suprises on used rods in my experence. A little cheaper option is the fenwick bass and smallmouth. Both rods are great.
  23. With that depth i would be fishing a dropshot. There is also a video i watched with a guy baicaly dropshotting a swimbait. The depth your describing is way out of my comfort zone and i have little to help there.
