Jig heads yes you can use a 4/0 just not belly weighted hooks.

I wouldn't use a jig head. Use a screw lock hook in 5/0 and your good to go. It also makes the baits last longer.

Well for the past 10 years what was the reason the "weak conferences" were not in? Simple because everyone thought the SEC was a god sent confrence destined to change football and forever dominate. What happened the first year the SEC had to put up or shut up ? Oh yeah that's right 230 yards from a running back, 256 passing yards, 42 points, 537 yards. And a Alabama loss, so national championships mean nothing from here on out about how good a team is. Keitech 4.8 fat sexy shad being my favorite and that's rare for sexy shad to be a favorite, use a 1/4 oz VMC screw lock hook reel just fast enough to see the wake up on the surface not the bait but the baits wake. Use around weeds and structure come back and thank me later caught 127 fish in 1 month doing this in the summer. If your waters clear reel fast enough so you can see the bait. It's pretty awesome sight fishing with them I pitched them into weeds and they get crushed on the fall.
