Do you guys use Single or Double-Bladed Buzzbaits and why?

The MegaStrike Cavitron is a single blade and the only buzzbait I fish.

 

 

 

 

Single bladed buzzbaits cause less commotion but can't be fished as slow as double bladed buzzbaits, double bladed buzzbaits cause more commotion but can be fished slower than single bladed buzzbaits.

Use that information to decide which you wanna throw.

X2. When the water has more chop to it I will throw a double bladed bait to make sure that those bass are hearing/seeing the commotion. If the water is so choppy that even the double blade buzz or a popper/chugger can't make enough commotion to be seen I put the topwater rod down.

Single. I have a double but have never gotten any bites or swirls on it

I only use singles. Years ago I had a couple of Mister twister doubles that worked really well. They were in line blades and spun in opposite directions .  

Never put the buzz bait down during chop you just have to go to the 4 blade!

Omega alpha buzz is a double that I use.

Croc-o-gator head knocker is a single I use.

Catch and grease is spot on with determine your situation for which to use.

I use both. When it is dead calm, I will use the single blade. But when there is more noise going on (wind, dogs, geese, etc), I will use my double blade for extra noise. I have caught lots of fish on both, but the largest ones came on the double blade.
