it all depends what your gonna be using it for, for me personally I'm a lews fan so i would pick up a lews speed spool LFS series or a lews tournament mg and for the rod i always look for one with a good warranty (just me opinion) so i would get a falcon BuCoo casting rod there great and really sensitive goodluck and let me know what you get

anyone ever use the ardent apex elite casting reel? I've been looking at it for a while now and with a 3 year warranty i was thinking about giving it a try so anyone have any insight on this reel? thanks

i got the abu garcia black max a couple years ago for my first bait caster and i just cleaned it the other day and it works even better so i would recommend that based on about 3 years of using it

well tackle warehouse has big bite baits senkos for $6 for 25 and there the same as any other senko and idk if he's a bank fisherman or not but i am and i try to stay away from some hard baits often because its a lot easier to get hung up fishing from bank and more than likely your not gonna get it back

check out the denali jadewood j2 series rods, my dad has a couple and there really nice and sensitive

i used them and my hook-up percentage was like 0 but i wanted a spook type bait to use over top of pads or grass and i picked up the snag proof weed demon and i loved it, it walks great and since than i bought about 5 but i wanna give the manns ghost a try, ever try one?

I'm the kind of person that once i get there i get all excited and have to go to the bathroom, but as for being my own worst enemy i tend to find it hard to try new techniques, i always catch myself going to the same baits that have worked for me in the past but when i try to pick up something new i get frustrated because i know i can catch a fish if i pick up a jig instead of a crankbait but thats my new years resolution this year!

im in college right now and I'm always broke, saving change helps me a lot lol but what helped me out a lot was berkley coming out with the havoc and now (first time I'm seeing it) yum is coming out with a lot of baits that are $2.99 but when it comes to rods and reels i don't like to buy too cheap, denali rods are great rods for the price with a lifetime warranty and for me the best reels have always been lews

i used one of their frogs before (my friend had one) and i could not get it to walk at all, i tried for about 15 minutes i cut the skirt and than gave up on it did you ever have that problem?

i just bought a couple River 2 Sea s-wavers and the bluegill one is my favorite so far but i wanted to dye a little bit of the tail chartreuse with some jj's magic but didn't know if it would work or mess up the bait, so will it work? thank tight lines

i know that many tournaments have banned it but do you believe the a-rig should be banned from all tournaments? i personally don't fish it that much and think it should be banned from tournaments for the same reason they did whats do you think?

well I've always used sufix and i loved it but i was at the store and they had stern on sale so i grabbed a couple boxes and it was horrible, worst line I've ever used so id figure id save some time and just ask lol
