  1. i have a lews carbon fiber speed spool thats may best lews and its going on 3 years and cast like i just pulled it out of the box
  2. trout: well I love fishing for trout depending on the water temps at the lake lol, but for trout i use anywhere from 4'6-5'0 ultra light rod with a pinnacle tiny deadbolt usually with 4lb fluro sometimes with a 2lb leader for hooks i like a size 12 and the split shot depends on how fast the waters moving. bass-spinning: for my all around spinning setup, i use a falcon Bucoo 6'6 medium with a abu garcia orra s with 8-10lb fluro that ill usually use for weightless flukes, finesse worms, stick baits, small crankbaits, small topwater lures bass-casting: for my casting I'm a lews fan, so i have a lews carbon fiber speed spool 7.0 to 1 gear ratio, with a denali jadewood J2 series 7ft med heavy goodluck let me know what you get
  3. siebert outdoors.com pick what you want i would go with a dredge head, and for size a 3/8oz is all around best size in my opinion
  4. I've caught one about 20in before there palomino, or golden rainbow trout but great catch, when they sock them around here they might but 4 in 1 creek and there almost impossible to catch
  5. and we signed ryan matthews too so idk what were gonna do with murray, matthews, and sproles but now we need to focus on the receiving core!
  6. Demarco murry coming to the eagles! (verbally)
  7. i would love to see us get mariota only because he would fit in our offense great if he can compete in the next level, but i think its a long shot and we need to pick up a good WRs because right now were running low and for RBs i love sproles he's a great runner and can stop on a dime but idk if he can carry the ball 20-30 times a game because he is only like 5'6 and for chip himself he's a smart guy and I'm hoping he knows what he's doing
  8. well i was looking for something that can catch bluegill, crappie, perch, bass pretty much everything but thanks

so I've been taking my little cousin fishing the past 2 years and he loves it and I'm slowly getting him out of using bait he was doing good on the rapala stick baits (smallest ones) but he's not the best at casting yet, so can you help and give me some suggestions on some lures that he might be good at using that are almost weedless and can catch a wide variety of fish? thanks
  10. im an eagles fan so i was looking forward to seeing gore come here since getting rid of mccoy, but i heard the deal fell throw and now he's talking with the colts but we just got rid or nick roles (wasn't a big fan anyway) but I'm not a fan of sam bradford either and sanchez is one of the most inconsistent QBs in the league so this year I'm thinking of a rebuild season hopefully 8-8 but ill be happy with anything as long as we beat dallas in the division

so over the last couple years I've been trying new techniques and I've picked up on jigs last year and now i have over 40, but I've been looking for a jig in the 1/4 to 3/8oz that has a profile of a 1 or 1 1/2oz has anyone come by a jig like this? thanks
  12. my go to rod is a falcon bucoo rod great rod for the price
  13. well I've never used p-line, but berkley big game is alright if you have some KVD line conditioner, but for the rods i have a H for frogs and a H for pitching too but i also use a MH for smaller jigs or open water frogging up to 5/8 or even 3/4
  14. im a bank fisherman so i have a 3601 with all my hooks and a smaller box with only 6 compartments for all my weights and bobber stops
  15. 1/2oz is the lowest ill go
  16. i looked around and the only ones i could find are pink shad there pink and white there on tackle warehouse and search naked bait and its in the one with the most colors
  17. i have good luck with the storm kicking shad bait in bluegill but if nothing else works ill always go back to a 5' white zoom lizard
  18. i was just wondering because over the last couple years I've really put them down and now i rarely throw them at all lol
  19. i used to get mine from big bite baits website, but they changed it and now they don't make them anymore, so i would like to know this too
  20. when do you choose a pop'r over a walking bait like a spook or sammy?
  21. I've been fishing penn warner my whole life, and i know there best there is a little over 8lbs but i heard someone caught a 10lber a couple years ago but there always having tournaments with the winning weight usually around 15lbs but the membership is like $750 and you have to register your boat with them and you pay by foot, same with your motor, but they have a website if you wanna look into it pennwarner.wm.com
  22. i caught one before on a booyah pad crasher that measured 22inches and weighed 3 1/2 pounds it didn't look that healthy and its bottom jaw was split into 2 but at least she was trying to eat!
  23. ever try it on just a jighead?
  24. I've been using beaver baits (no specific brand) for a while now, but I've never used the 3.5inch except for a subtle jig trailer, so is there anything else that you use it for? thanks
  25. i used to use the bps bag which wasn't bad but it has no support for your back, but i put out a couple more dollars and got the cabelas backpack and i haven't gotten to use it yet but its 100% better but if your looking for something a little cheaper check out academy.com the flambeau kwirkdraw bag i have one like it for wading creeks for smallmouth fishing and instead of the 2 3600 boxes you could use 3 3601 boxes and they will fit but goodluck, let me know what you get
